I have found this product to be easily better than any of the SSRI's I have been prescribed in the past. It works for me but it may not work for everyone. There are no issues with insomnia or loss of libido which can be a side effect of a lot of anti-depressants. It certainly helps with anxiety and depression but be warned, while it is a natural product, it doesn't necessarily mean its safe to take i.e. it is noted for its interactions with other medications, some of which can be quite serious.

I have taken these tablets for years over winter to combat SAD. In fact I put a reminder in my diary to order these two weeks before the clocks go back in November. For me it takes a few weeks for them to take any effect. That effect is a subtle but tangible lift in mood and energy. I feel brighter and more motivated at home and at work. I have never had any side effects and I stick to one a day as advised.I think these need to be given time to work and you need to take consistently. They are not a quick fix but given time are certainly effective. Once the weather is better in spring I find myself naturally wanting to stop taking them and I drop to once every two days and then trail off.There are some contra indications about mixing St John’s Wort with many medicines, so do check with your doctor.

I was not expecting this to work, as my mum has bought me funny herbal medicines before and i'm not a huge believer in herbal medicines. However this genuinely helped me and i significantly saw the difference in how i felt with and without it. There is other brands with higher mg amounts at a time, depending on how bad you feel you might want to go for a higher mg.

I bought these for my 20 year old son as he’d been struggling with low mood and anxiety. He took them but was very sceptical.However 6 weeks or so later, there’s a difference and even he’s agreed they have helped.

When these arrived they had a best before date of March 2021. Amazon sent a replacement however they have the same short date on them. Simply not good enough! Can't comment on their effectiveness get as I've only just started taking them. A different brand has worked for me in the past so fingers crossed for these.
