People have said that this chair is difficult to put together, it isn't. That the holes don't line up, they do. That it's not comfortable, it is.The fixing bolts are easily cross-threaded, which is perhaps why people said the holes didn't line up, so if you are putting it together and the bolts feel stiff, don't press your luck, you are probably cross-threading them and this will end badly. Basically, if the bolts don't go in easily, you are doing it wrong. Mind you, be aware that the bolts come with thread lock applied so they will become a little harder to screw in after a few turns, this is normal with thread-lock.So far, the chair has been comfy, not too bad a height and feels sturdy.It's not mentioned anywhere but the seat height is 45cm.

I chose this chair as I wanted a desk chair without wheels for a carpeted room.So far it has been comfortable. I like that the arm rests can be lifted to move them out of the way if necessary.It was easy to setup and I unscrewed and removed the frontal anti-slip plastic pieces to prevent damage to the carpet and make it easier to pull out.

I'm pleased with the Reception Chair and the only reason for my 4 star instead of 5 is the installation instructions do not make very clear the way it should be assembled. I found you can't fit back after fitting the arms to the seat. The best way I found was to fit the seat base to the frame. Then fit the arms to the back then finally fit the arms/back to the seat base.The assembly bolts are fine threaded. So, try the bolts into their fixture points before assembly. To make sure they go in easily with your fingers for a few turns.You shouldn't need to use the allen key until the bolt is in at least a couple of turns. This will help to ensure you don't damage the bolt by getting it cross threaded.Also don't tighten any bolt fully until the chair is completely assembled. It will give you a bit a wiggle room when getting the final bolts in.I estimate it took me about 3/4 of an hour to assemble once unpacked. I also found after 24 hours of use it would be advisable to check the bolts don't need to be tightened again.I found the chair comfortable, and the swivel arm helps because you don't need to move the chair back and forth to get up when seated at a desk. So, taking all into consideration I'm pleased with this purchase at a very reasonable price.

The chair is comfy. However, before you get the reward you must pay the price. It too difficult to assemble and the screws are too difficult to get in! I spent 10 minutes to fix one screw and in the end I replace the screw with another one and it's all done. I guess the quality control of the screw needs improvement!

I love how solid and sturdy this chair feels! It's extremely comfortable, and I'm glad I ordered it. Matter of fact, I might order another one.I found the assembly to be fairly straightforward, and I did it by myself. (I am, for reference, a middle-aged woman whose previous DIY experience topped out at pre-fab bookcases.) The instructions are light on words and heavy on exploded diagrams, but they're perfectly clear. The only dodgy bit was getting the seat attached to the base at the end because I needed five hands. Try flipping the top of the chair upside-down on your sofa and putting the base on top of it--worked for me. Oh, and don't take all the hardware off the card at once. Just open each little section as you need those bolts.The only caveat I can think of is that all the sturdiness makes this chair very, very heavy. It's not the sort of thing I'd order for my 90yo grandma. But if you don't mind the weight, I can't imagine a better chair.

I've forgiven it for being such a pain to assemble. It's fairly hefty, which made putting it together difficult, especially since I didn't have much space to assemble it in. Would be much easier with a helper.The chair itself is really comfortable and stays put, which is really all you want in most chairs. The mesh back is a nice touch and I love that the armrests lift.

These are very comfortable chairs and they look very professional. The higher back is wonderful.

I was pleasantly surprised regarding the chair quality. The chair is sturdy as well as comfortable. I appreciate the contour of the lumbar support since I spend hours at my desk. The chair was easy to assemble. The Allen wrench was included with the screws/washers. I would definitely recommend. It is a great value for the money.
