This book is superbly written and with very helpful sections covering the many species. Truely gorgeous photos throughout!

This is a very good book as far as the photos and information are concerned but has one flaw IMHO. There are far too many photos on the left hand pages which makes it difficult to view them. Otherwise, it’s a top quality book.

Any person interested in hummingbirds will find this volume to be the next best thing to actually seeing the live birds. The photos are amazing and the text is very informative and well researched. This is not a field guide so if that’s what you’re looking for you may want to consider other options. If however, you want to learn about the lives of hummingbirds and see some gorgeous images in the process, look no further.

This remarkable book is a must read for anyone interested in learning about hummingbirds!

Eigentlich bevorzuge ich Naturführer mit Zeichnungen, aber dieses Buch ist eine rühmliche Ausnahme.Wunderschöne Aufnahmen. Ein echtes Meisterwerk!
