I have purchased these previously to connect low voltage landscape lights. Most have been in use for 4 years and none have failed. Easy to use and provide a very solid connection. I highly recommend.

This product is superior to other connectors. Even in cold temperatures, when the conduit is harder, these will pierce the wire effortlessly. I made over 100 connections without issue.

Easy to install, worked like a charm. Only one problem: I needed to bury the connection. I was not optimistic, but I used some silicone grease and gave it a shot. Only one week later, the light went out. I dug it up, retightened it and it worked again. Rather than "rinse and repeat", I decided to put an empty plastic yogurt container (cut down a bit) over the connection and then buried it again. It has now held up well.

I did not know that such a product existed. It made somewhat faster to attached 30 plus low voltage lights. Clean install. Clean connections. Its been almost 2 months now. Its working without any issues.

These were perfect were so easy to install, and they’re actually better and more waterproof.

I don’t like having to split the LV cable to use these. Seems a bit arcane, but they work just fine. Securing with weatherproof electrical tape seems to be an absolute requirement, but the junction ends up being huuuuge T-shaped blob.I can remember from DECADES ago using something which basically clamped one wire onto another. It looked like a tiny stapler where you opened the hinge (on short dimension) to insert the wire from the fixture and closed it to secure, then open the hinge on the opposite side (hinged on the long dimension) to feed the power cable through and then closed that lid. The whole assembly is then pressed together.Fast, effective, reliable, and electrical tape optional. The whole thing with wire protruding (1 straight through on axis, one parallel from the fixture at one end, on axis) was smaller than my pinky finger.

These connectors make adding a light to an existing line easy. Just split the main line wire, then attach one of these connectors to each separated wire, then attach the stripped end of the light fixture lead to each of these connectors. I used a far more expensive brand of these and they were great--but expensive. These appear to be just as good and for a lot less.
