Wow
Wow. Just wow. I have no words for this book. It was beautifully written and I’m so sad I’ve finished it. I had to sit a few moments after to just fully think on what I had read. I highly, highly, highly recommend! Best book I have read in a very long time.

First half is good, second half drags on
The first half of this book was SO good, I couldn’t put it down. But then, there is a catalyst event and the second half of the book is weird and slow. The ending smacks you out of no where, you don’t see it coming and not in a good way. It feels random and it went against what I thought the theme of the book was: the closeness of platonic female friendship.

Very intense and believable
As a SW/Mental Health Therapist for 35 years mainly working with Teens I found this book believable and sad. It's well written with believable characters and plots. Keeps you guessing until the end. Not all mentally unstable children and teens become Psychopaths but the ones that do can't be changed no matter what interventions are tried. I would recommend this book for stable teens who have a good sense of self.

Not expected
I liked the book. It was an easy read. The plot twists and turns enough to keep you interested. I only think it fell short at the end, but most books feel that way to me. I guess I get invested in the chargers and never like saying goodbye.

NYT Bestseller for a reason!
I loved the writing, loved the ride, and loved the way that this book ate me up. It has an atypical ending, and I actually really liked that a lot. Some reviewers here don't dig the ending, but that's reaction seems to me the mark of something distinctly different, which seems to me something distinctly worth reading. I am not a big reader of YA novels, but the title and cover of this one grabbed me (and I also like Weingarten's other work), and I'm really glad I picked this up... I think you will be too!

A Mindless Quick-Read
Another reviewer hit the nail on the head by describing this as an adolescent attempt at "Gone Girl" meets "13 Reasons Why". I got this book for 99¢ through bookbub and based on what I paid for it I would say it was worth it.It wasn't terrible as I did find it engaging and devoured the book in a day. It was a refreshing lightly cerebral thriller I enjoyed squeezing in between the other, dense non-fiction books I'm currently trudging through.

Good but..
This is a wonderful book that has crazy twists but it has a sense of the 13 reasons why. I hope there is a second one to dryer explain such things but would highly recommend.

2.5 stars for this one
I was very intrigued by the cover and title of this book, with the blurb convincing me to buy it. It started off quite well, I was really intrigued to find out what happened to Delia and how they're friendship demised. From the outset I did find some of the language and general writing of the book quite basic and naive which I found hard to connect with. I also don't think much effort was out in to characterization as I did not feel a connection to any character, and felt like those such as Ryan and Ashling were just plot fillers without any real substance..As far as the story goes the major plot twist was quite obvious and came quite soon into the book. After that I wasn't very sure where it would go from there but was still eager to continue reading and find out. However, it all just felt rushed and not thought through, as well as extremely far fetched. When I finished the book I was left feeling confused as to what the truth was and really what the whole point of it even was.I think more effort could have been put into developing the characters and the second half of the book could have flowed better as it was very disjointed.Overall, I'd recommend a read if you're interested in the story but don't have high expectations.

Very gripping YA book
Enjoyed this book a lot, found it to be a very quick and gripping read with some unexpected twists. Mostly unlikeable characters apart from the protagonist (June) whom I was rooting for the whole time. Ending confused me a bit but I read some theories on it online which cleared that up.

Not sure about the story itself
Storyline was paced okay but got boring midway, didn’t really like the female lead as no real character development was established.

Could not put this book down!
I read it in 3 days. And when I wasn't reading it, I was thinking about it. It had so many twists, and I saw none of them coming. Absorbing. Unexpected. Brilliant.
