Hunter Company Hydrawise Pro-HC 12-Station Indoor Wi-Fi Irrigation Controller (PHC-1200i)

Was easy to install to replace my old manual system. The App is great. Nice to be able to water the yard from my phone. Just take pictures of the wiring of your old system before you install. It only took about 15 minutes to install the hardware. I am very happy with it.

Upgraded to this new Hunter digital model with mobile phone control from an old Hunter Pro C analog model when it finally gave out. What an improvement this is! No more running out to the garage to turn off sprinklers when it rains, just use my smart phone! Much easier to troubleshoot problem stations when i can turn on and off with my phone instead of running from the backyard to the garage with water shooting all over the place!Installation was easy (just take a photo of the location the wires from all your stations). One tip, the phone app for U.S.A. is different from the one in the instruction manual. Use the "Hydrawise" app from the app store for iphone users. Not sure about Android.

I’ve installed so many of these I have lost count. Easy to install and connect to wi-fi (2.4 ghz only). The app works well and is very intuitive. It’s easy to run one or multiple zones manually. The wi-fi based weather helps cut back on watering or an water more if it’s very hot…..all customizable from the app. Having the ability to run from the touch screen is nice if wi-fi is down or you have a landscaper needing to run it after fertilizing.

The Hunter Hydrawise Pro-HC sprinkler controller out of the box had two issues. First of which is that the serial number appeared as already registered with Hunter. I ended up finding out that Amazon sent to me a returned item unbeknownst to me. That was my first surprise. This was sorted by reaching out to Hunter who released the serial number so that I could reassign it to me. Second issue was discovered when I plugged in the controller for the first time. The touch screen fired up however the contrast was so bad that I was unable to view the on-screen instructions, change any of the settings, or even add my wifi to the controller. Unfortunately, now past Amazon's return policy I am working directly with Hunter for a replacement via their warrantee process.UPDATE: I ended up working with Hunter directly. After a few back and forth emails, Hunter sent to me a brand new/updated model as a replacement for the one that I bought from Amazon. The touch screen is crisp and clear, and the controller now functions as it is supposed to. Thank you Hunter!

I went from a 30-year old Rainbird to this, and I set it all up myself. It was VERY easy to re-wire, then it hopped right on my network and I was watering my lawn within less than an hour! The app is very flexible and easy to use, and now I can set up all sorts of watering combinations that weren’t possible with my old controller. Being able to control watering more accurately means this thing will pay for itself in probably 2 seasons or less!

Easy to install, love the wi-if access. The app is awesome. You can add a picture to the zone to assist in confirming you are controlling the intended zone. Setting you zones and times is a breeze. I could say so much more, worth every penny

I love the fact that this unit connects to my wifi and I can use my phone to start and stop any station that I want from anywhere that I have internet access. Once installed and set up it is very easy to operate.

I like that I can control water manually across the United States.
