CasioMen's AQ-230GA-9D Gold Analog & Digital with Index Watch

I bought this watch because anyone with a watch collection needs at least one classic Casio!Casio has proven its reliability time after time and this is no exception. You can expect a 10-year battery life and for it to not lose time at any point throughout those 10 years. I bought this time piece in early May and it has not faulted once. Casio is synonymous with quality and reliability!The design is classic Casio styling. I would go out on a limb and dare say this is the epitome of retro cool! Be warned that, like most classic Casio watches, this time piece is on the small side and very light compared to more modern-styled men's watches. Consequently, this watch's face is smaller than what most would expect from a man's watch. In fact, taking into account today's fashion trends, I would say that this timepiece can be classified as unisex. Women can wear this; no problem! There is absolutely no bulk to this design. Also, don't be turned off by its light weight. Unlike many other brands, this is not an indication of low quality. It is simply what Casio is; the maker of small, light, practical watches that will last years.The gold tone is visually soft and not the exceedingly bright gold that cheap watch makers use in a failed attempt to make their product look "blinged out." Accordingly, this watch exudes class and sophistication whether it is worn for business or leisure. I love wearing this watch to the firm and have been known to sport it at galas. When you pair Casio's minimalist design with its time-tested reliability, it does the job, while looking good!I highly recommend this watch! However, if you like big, manly watches with large faces, it is not for you. It is the smallest watch I own but ultimately I love it.Pairs well with a blue, black, and grey suits.

More durable than it looks

This watch is truly awesome! I replaced the band it was packaged with with an 18 mm leather band. Easy strap replacement as the watch has drilled lugs. 10/10 for the value!

This was a replacement for the exact watch for my son. He stepped on the first one at soccer practice.The Crystal isn’t glass.The band will turn over time. He loves this watch with both digital and analogue. He wore it broken 1.5 years because the digital still worked until I replaced it. Very nice for every day or dress especially for a young adult.

I highly recommend this watch if you are looking to add a bit more uniqueness to your collection and a touch of gold. The gold is a bit more matte rather than shiny, which I personally love as it doesn't draw as much attention. Love the fact that it is analog and digital. Overall, it is a very good watch, and it is very hard to go wrong with this. Great for the summer as well!
