JoicoIntensity Semi-Permanent Hair Color, Amethyst Purple, 4 Ounce

Love this purple colour. Dye every 2 weeks for darker colour. Yes it dyes everything but if you use conditioner or Vaseline on your skin before use it does come off. Wash your hair in cold water to make the colour last longer. People who said it didn't dye their hair are straight up blind.

I'm really impressed with this colour. I've tried a few different brands and this one is definitely my favourite.Easy to apply: it's thick enough that it doesn't run everywhere, and the tube means it's easy to dispense.Vibrant colour: bright, saturated and very true to the colour on the tube/pictureLongevity: I've yet to find any bright colour that lasts for very long, but this one has done well for me so far. I wash my hair with conditioner and in cool water and this seems to preserve the colour well.Condition: I applied conditioner after rinsing out the colour and the dye doesn't seem to have damaged my hair at all. It was much drier before (with only bleach and faded dye).I was applying two colours (Mermaid Blue & Amethyst Purple) onto pre-lightened hair that was stained from previous faded dyes, meaning my base colours ranged from green to yellow to rusty orange. The dye took to all of it, giving me a lovely selection of different tones and I'm really happy with it! It also stained my virgin hair a little, which I wasn't expecting, given that it's so dark.So far I've done 2 applications and I reckon there's just enough left in the tubes for one more.I'm definitely reordering.

The colour turned out to be really good and as of now has lasted even after 5 washes. It didn't irritate the skin either, although always do a patch test beforehand.
