Wonderful
Cooks quickly and browns evenly. Once you dial in a setting, it's remarkably consistent.

Got this Air Fryer for Hong Kong, quiet fan, easy to use, BUT must do this (see below)
NOTE: If you order this for Hong Kong, it uses 220V, so you MUST use a step down transformer.Amazon was great, it arrived a few days early, and delivered. If it weren't for the free delivery, I might have returned it and tried to get a local model (so I don't need to buy transformer).1) The Air Fryer uses 120V, so you'll need a step down transformer.(Update: May 21, 2024 - DON'T buy the little transformer, it won't work with the air fryer.Sorry about my earlier post.)The transformer I ended up getting is the size of a shoebox and weights more than 10 lbs. It canconvert 220V to 110V and also 110V to 220V. Don't know who would need both. But it works.2) If you want to get accessories, the inside pan can fit 8" accessories.I ordered this after measuring the insidehttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B09V53YRWJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details3) The Philips website has a lot of great recipes. We love our Air Fryer, food is hot and delicious, often without any added oil. It's as good as grilling, but more compact and fast, and the cooked meat isn't sitting in oil. It's also super easy to clean. Favorite cooking appliance in our household now! 💖

Good Quality
This is my second one of these Phillips Air Fryers and it corrected some little problems with my first one. When I need to replace my first on I purchased a different brand and was very disappointed at how lame it was. I feel the Phillips worked better by far because the air goes all the way around the food instead of just blasting down on it. This cooks much more even. and my first one lasted years of constant use.

Best buy in years. Highly versatile and has replaced our oven for most recipes.
We purchased this Air Fryer in July 2023, and it has been the best kitchen purchase for us in years. We use it daily and it has held up fine. It has replaced our oven and frying pan for many uses, cooking fish and meats, roasting potatoes, dumplings and vegetables, baking gratins, rolls, muffins and biscuits, even a spatchcocked chicken. We wash the tray in the sink by hand, not in the dishwasher, and the non-stick material has held up. I wish the temperature would go to 450F, not just 400F, but that would likely be a problem for the plastic materials. Overall, one of our best buys in years.

Dream come true!
I was looking for an appliance to save heating up my oven in a small apartment during the summer months. It's already muggy where I live, and this air fryer is a marvel. It doesn't get as hot as my toaster! It's not just a fryer; in fact, I have not used it to fry anything, It is an air cooker. It cooks faster than an oven, and the food is excellent. There is an app with recipes to get you started. It is easy to use, easy to clean. So why didn't I give it five stars? For two reasons: (1) there is a terrible burnt plastic smell when you begin to use it. It is a toxic smell that can makesyou very sick. It does go away, but the appliance comes with no warning, and no suggestions for how to get rid of the smell. I looked on the internet and found two possible solutions, neither of which worked. (2) There is zero customer service. Because of the vile odor, I tried contacting Phillips. I tried the Chat function first, but gave up after 45 minutes waiting for an agent to come on line. I tried the telephone number several times. Finally, I reached someone who was aghast that I was having this problem. I don't know why she was so surprised, after all, it is discussed all over the internet! (And yes, I should have read the Amazon reviews more carefully before purchasing.) At any rate, she said she never heard of this, that it could be a safety issue, and that she was "expediting" the issue to the "team," and I would hear back within three to five business days. Yes, you are way ahead of me. I never heard back from the "team," or anyone else, except for an aggressive email from a Chat Agent who was apparently offended that I didn't wait longer than 45 minutes for someone to come to my aid, and who said, "unless I hear from you, I am closing this case." Case? What case? Of course, I wrote back immediately, and never heard from the Chat person again! So, long story short, unacceptable customer service is another reason for fewer stars. I find it difficult to have any confidence in a company when it provides no customer support. It tells me that Phillips does not stand behind its products, and buyer beware. If this air fryer survives the summer, I will consider myself lucky. And I will avoid Phillips products in the future.
