Best oil out there! Want better gas mileage and higher performance? Use Royal Purple and see for yourself. I use the 5w20 in a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.7 HEMI. It cost more because your getting more in every quart. Try it and like me you won't use any thing else in your car or truck.See Facts that I researched before I started using Royal Purple. Dragons Blood.
I have used several premium oils. Mobile one is similar I guess it deals with heat better but as far performance I love this oil and buy nothing but it.Also this is a great deal and I hate buying the 5 quart jug when I only need four and a half quarts. I recently watched YouTube videos I mean my car is tuned and I noticed a difference has multiple performance upgrades that I've done myself but I mean especially with Japanese cars the stuff's great. I have an Acura that loves royal purple. I can't go wrong with mobile one but it's not the same...

Buy the BEST! Royal Purple does what it says! IT WORKS!
Well, I changed the oil in my 2012 Ford Fiesta SES 5 speed manual today at 14188 original miles. My engine ought to be broken in by now. My three year factory warranty expired. Time to protect my investment for the long haul. This is my third oil change since I bought my car brand new. My previous two servicing's were done by my local Ford dealership. At the dealership prices. I suppose that the service techs used "Ford" products on my ride since they're a dealership......... Well back to the "Royal Purple" upgrade. After tricking out my Fiesta with the best that money could buy in the past, and after viewing all the available information that I could find, reading the car owner reviews, and seeing oil filters sawed in half, I decided that I would give "Royal Purple" a try. The 1.6L Ford Fiesta engine specs call for 4.2 quarts of 5w20 oil. After installing the new upgraded "Royal Purple" oil filter, I added the four quarts of Royal Purple 5w20 oil, and topped it off with .2 quarts of "Lucas Pure Synthetic" oil treatment. I've been using "Lucas" brand oil treatment in all my vehicles for years so I already knew how good it is. Todays smaller, newer engines require a lighter formula than the original "Lucas" so I bought the "Lucas Pure synthetic" formulated for new engines. I'm Very, VERY pleased with the results in my Ford Fiesta SES! My car runs so smooth and quiet that I have to listen to see if the engine is still running while driving down the road in gear! Now I'm not one to brag, but it DOES seem like there's MORE POWER. Whatever it is, I definitely noticed a faster acceleration without even trying to press the pedal harder to do it! This from a guy that has used over the last 40 years all the oils, gimmicks, gadgets, and snake oils on the market and some that are not even on the market anymore! This is an upgrade that went perfectly smooth, with no pain, and no modifications! Anybody that says Royal Purple products are bunk is sadly misinformed, or just plain stupid. I'll NEVER use any other oil in my hot hatch!

I have a 1998 ford taurus with 156,000 miles on it. I have been running RP since my mother gave me the car at 120,000 miles. Since then, this car has been resurrected from death. It may be due to the synthetic oils in general, but there is still something to be said about RP specifically. Royal Purple has a high film strength. That property is the single reason for its lubricating superiority -- which results in more horsepower, less friction, less emissions, greater efficiency, and greater fuel economy. I've been using the k&n air filter, RP synthetic, and the RP oil filter. On the drive from Columbus to Philadelphia, the total number of miles traversed over the number of gallons used was equivalent to 30 miles per gallon. This car, stock, was designed to get an EPA estimated 27 miles per gallon. This improvement is no doubt due to a combination of factors including aftermarket iridium bosch spark plugs, royal purple synthetic oil & filter, and the k&n air filter. If you look up the falex lubricity test of this oil compared to the other major synthetic brands, you find that RP is demonstrated to outperform.. However, it's not clear that the all of the independent variables in the experiment were controlled. Specifically heat may not have been controlled, and as the third trial was conducted on RP, there is the possibility that the data was manipulated to give RP an advantage.. If that doesn't make sense without a visual, just search royal purple on youtube and you'll find a few experiments done by royal purple and its competitors on oil film strength.. Think about it, and you'll see what I mean. All I'm saying is RP needs to make more of an effort to demonstrate proper use of the scientific method with their extraordinary claims. After all, extraordinary claims require extraordinary inscrutable evidence. This product came in an amazon box, with the royal purple box of twelve one quart oil bottles within that. Very satisfied for what I ordered.
