Recommend.
Actually going to get the bigger one.Highly recommend for new tattoos.I have a forearm sleeve and it kept the water out.Recommend that at the edges you put an extra layer to ensure that water doesn’t get in because the edges tend to lift especially if it’s put on at a peculiar angle to fit the shape of the tat.

This stuff is the bees knees for after tattoo care!
It covers nicely and allows you not to worry about rubbing it or accidentally pulling a scab.

Does the job, but left sticky residue
I put this on my tattoo around day 3 or 4, when it had started to scan a little bit. It was pretty dry, versus the gooey (sorry) one I had peeled off to replace. This stuff went on beautifully, but removing it left a sticky residue. I was able to remove the residue with some olive oil, but wow what a pain.

Do not recommend
We tried this brand. It came off by itself the same day we put it on. It's very thin. It tears easily. We tried to use it again on a different area and it stayed but the only bad part was it left alot of the adhesive on my skin. We had to scrub over and over my tattoo to get it off. Left my leg feeling sticky. I won't buy this kind again.

Ok for the price, but not great.
I have a lot of tattoos and have used multiple kinds of dermal layers. This is possibly the worst one I've tried. It is easy to apply, which is not always the case, so points for that. However it is incredibly plasticky, and feels like you're wearing saran wrap on your skin. The instructions were unclear that you are supposed to change the layer every day. I've never had another brand say that. Usually I wear one for the initial 24 hours, take it off, wash and moisturize with coconut oil, then blot off excess and put another layer on for a week. This helps me heal to the 2+ week mark in a week, which is great! When I went to take this off it left behind a horrible layer of adhesive that took a lot of work to remove. I finally resorted to using copious amounts of olive oil and laying layers of tissue over it to create something I could tug off slowly. It was painful and could have damaged the tattoo.I will not be using the rest of the roll I have.
