150 Rounds for Singing and Teaching

When a group I sing with decided it would be fun to do some rounds, we got several books to try out. This is the one we all decided to buy. It has the best selection of rounds, for our taste. It’s lightweight and easy to hold while learning the words and melodies. It has a good table of contents and a good alphabetical index plus other indexes for finding songs by category. Plus, many of the rounds are also printed in “score format” with parts lined up with each other so you can see if you are getting off track with the other parts, which at times is most useful! Overall, just a wonderful little book!

The book contains a wide variety of great rounds that music educators can use for their classes. An excellent source for student-teachers or educators just starting out and are looking for pieces to incorporate into their warmups and lessons.

Great book!

Great songs, easy to read/navigate. Good level for late elementary and early middle school students (I teach grades K-5).

Wonderful collection of rounds/ canons, with a very useful index at the back listing the tone set of each song. Valuable resource teaching of all ages.
