Good book on Lord Rama and indian thought

Great book to read

this review is not about the content of the book...yoga vashista is an excellent book on pure vedanta...there are many versions, many authors...i like this one because it a page a day version...so that simplifies the book...i prefer the longer versions as the material is more in depth...but that point aside, the only reason i gave one star less is the paper quality. Pages could have been a few microns thicker as this is a book that you will read on a daily basis.

The book is gem to be cherished. The content is priceless. Thanks to the publishers for keeping the book in circulation for our generation of interested readers, for a price which is within our reach.However, for a better reading experience the font size could have been bigger. All the letters in bold which are the important verses and their free translation, the words are more like black lumps and not legible. It almost makes the reader avoid reading them.

The rating is for the print quality and not the contents of the book. It is sad that such an excellent book has been printed in such a careless fashion. The bold print Sanskrit verses are nearly impossible to read. In general, font size is very small and on some pages, the print itself is faded.Wouldn't recommend this version for anyone.

My review about the few pages I have so far read:Able to understand some portions (self-effort), some portions can't understand (story of lila). Maybe should read it multiple times to understand I think. Will keep reading.My review about the font of the text:I bought this as it said enlarged version. But the text is very small. Not sure if this is what is enlarged version. Please see the font size before you pay.

Print is very small .. difficult to read.. want book on same subject ..may be another publication..
