These are well made and you get several. There are enough for several children to play without fighting over them. They are colorful and easy to spot.I would purchase again.

Only 5 inches long - don’t go off pictures. Those kids would have to be like 1 foot tall for the toy to look that big in real life.

I first used one of these water torpedoes at the pool and it was a butch larger one. About 10 inches long or so. That water torpedo was wonderful and really fun to use. You could simply just toss it lightly into the water and it would take off like a torpedo. These smaller torpedoes, such as these ones, aren't really worth the money unless you are planning on using them for diving toys only. They don't travel well under water at all. When you throw them into the water they typically don't enter the water properly. They tend to enter the water at any angle because of the weight and design of the torpedoes. After entering the water they almost always will just go straight down to the bottom like a rock. It's very difficult to throw the torpedoes at an angle that they will enter the water properly, as in heads first, so they travel forward for any amount of length. Best case scenerio, if thrown perfectly, they travel about a few feet at best then go straight down. If you want a torpedo that is really fun and travels well under water and is easy to throw, buy the 10" long water torpedo. That torpedo enters the water head first with almost any throw and with relative ease. It also travels quick and smooth through the water going close to 20 feet at least with nothing more than a simple toss. With some practice throwing, you could get the 10" long torpedo to travel a good 30 feet or more most likely simply by tossing the torpedo with some minor force. The 10" long torpedo has the correct weight and dimensions needed to enter the water correctly when thrown by just about anyone that can throw a dart. Throwing it like a dart will have the torpedo enter head first but at a slight angle so that it will shoot through the water like a real torpedo. Amazingly smooth and really quickly. That torpedo makes an amazingly awesome water toy! Fun for children and adults alike!!

Smaller than I expected, but still a hit with my grandkids. Only used 5-6 times so far, so I don’t know how they’ll hold up over time.
