Subaru 2019 Forester Rear Cargo Tray

I had 4 year old Subaru I just traded in. It was in ok shape except for the dog hair that had woven itself into the carpeting. I have 8 long haired large and giant breed dogs (goldens and Irish wolfhounds) When I traded in the car I could not get that dog hair out. It drove me crazy. When I got the new Forester I discovered this rear seat cover. Because of the dogs I seldom have my rear seat up, it is always down to allow for the dogs. Before I would even allow the dogs into the car I bought a few things, the cargo area tray, the weatherproof floor mats and this rear seat back protector. It is fantastic. I put this down and put dog blankets and mats on top of it to protect it and keep the mud out and the car is easy to clean with no hair all over the place. I love this, easy to install and it does the trick

Designed to work with the seat back protectors and the cargo net attachment sold separately (keeps mat from sliding,) comes rolled in a box from the dealer so it needs to be pulled tight against the rear edge lip and weighted down. The rear edge will conform to the car after one day in the sun. If you live in a cold climate use a heat gun on low and heat it up on the seams.

This mat is great. It is thin and light. It fits the back of the Forester like it was made for it. Surprise, it was! Nothing really slides around on it. Not bags or boxes or tools or dead varmints. So easy to clean. A hose a brush and the blood comes right off. If I had this mat and no car I would buy a car that it would fit in.

This is not the same as the seat back mats. Yes it’s made to pair with them but it’s not as thick and is just a plain old hard plastic liner. No Velcro to keep it in one place. Comparably thin as a milk jug’s plastic. Would recommend something a few mils thicker and maybe a more rubberized texture.
