Life Beyond Death: A Critical Study of Spiritualism Hardcover – January 1, 1944

I have started reading this book. It is getting interesting day by day. This is an amazing spiritual journey. The books starts with several experiments held in the 1860s in America and it shows the results of many doctors and scientists in this counrty during that time. They were seemingly convinced about the existence of the soul after death.The author lived his most fo the life in USA.

I got this book after the death of my dog. Getting straight to the point, Life Beyond death is a series of lectures which have been published in this book. The only problem is, as this happens to be a series of lectures, lot of chapters seem repetitive in nature for the first couple of pages. The lectures were delivered in the early 1900's so most of the societal issues and mindsets discussed were from that period and seem to be slightly outdated in the modern context. However the author aptly captures the true essence of the subject and presents it in a very simple and non judgmental manner. It is a worth read if the subject of spiritualism interests you.
