Perfect for newborn hats
I got these to make worsted weight Newborn sized hats without having to start out with DPNs and honestly I sometimes lack the patience to do magic loop. These fit the bill. It takes a little getting used to the super short needles, but I really appreciate not having to worry about tension issues, especially when doing Fair Isle knitting. My only wish is that they came in a couple of bigger sizes like 10’s or 10.5’s. They seem really sturdy, and the cords are too short to have the twisting issues that longer circulars have. The points are just pointy enough. Not super sharp, but workable. Definitely recommend.

So much better than DPNs!
I make a lot of fingerless mitts and these needles have eliminated the "laddering" so common when using DPNs. Sharp enough to make working with finer yarns a breeze. Definitely worth the spend!

Excellent Option for Short Cords
9 inch circulars are preferred for those of us who aren't fans of knitting flat....won't/can't use dpn's...or just because. I do like them, in general, but short cords can be tricky to use. I do like that the needles are small, making the them easier to use.Be sure you try some before buying them in all sizes, short cords aren't for everyone and some items will require dpn's no matter what!

Perfect for small projects
It's so hard to find smaller needles that are still made of quality wood (rather than metal, which I personally find too slippery) - but these are great! Just keep in mind, I think the 9-inch measurement INCLUDES the needle - it's not just the measurement of the cable alone. The cable is still flexible despite its small size. It's a little bit awkward at first, and definitely takes some practice to get used to the size and shape while working, but in my opinion, these are still easier to handle than a bunch of double-pointed needles. Never have to worry about dropping one :) The price is reasonable, too, so if you're curious about an alternative to DPNs, this is worth a try!I bought these for a specific tube scarf pattern that was too small for my usual 16-inch circulars, but I think they could be useful for a lot of projects: socks, the tops of hats, various other small pieces. Definitely recommended!

God but not for extended use...
These needles are great if you are only working with them for a couple of minutes at a time. Extended use and your hands will cramp up like never before. Good for sleeve knitting if your gauge calls for it.
