Cholla wood is a great natural hideout for shrimp and fish. The cholla wood holes provide safety for shrimp after they molt or when they feel vulnerable. Cholla wood eventually breaks down but takes months to years depending on thickness. The cholla wood you will receive is at least 6" long and with a diameter between 0.5" - 1.5".

Exactly what you'd expect
Delivered early and as expected. I haven't gotten around to cleaning them yet or soaking them, so I cannot review that aspect however, face value, they're exactly as pictured (mine were minus the bag). I bought them to attach some live plants to in my 10 gallon aquarium. The size, spot on. Not too large and definitely not too small. I cannot wait to get these bad boys in my tank!! I'm so far, i'm very pleased. I'd buy these again if I needed more!

Great logs
I ordered these going by others' reviews and was expecting something smaller than pictured. To my surprise they were pretty big! So big that I'm only using 2 out of the 5 currently and with use the other three in a different aquarium. Also, the three I put aside are still floating, might have to boil them again. Overall, this was a very nice purchase. Looks nicer with plants on them.

Loved them, just like the picture!
Love the look and size of these, perfect for my ten gallon! I just soaked them in hot water for a few hours and that helped stop the release of tannins in my tank. I will say they have been floating in my tank all day and so far only two are showing any signs of sinking, but I assume that is common to most driftwood. Would buy again!Update: one of the wood pieces would not sink even after being soaked for almost three days, so it had to be taken out, but the other four sank and look great! My shrimp love to zip through the center of them!Update again: Had to take them all out after my beta fish got stuck in one and got injured, don’t recommend them for curious fish like Betta fish, but the product is still good quality

Great stuff!
This cholla would has been nothing but great in my aquarium! My shrimp absolutely love eating off of it, and hiding out inside. The price is great, and I got some nice looking pieces. If you have shrimp in your tank, I highly recommend you add some cholla!

Have used these as bases for my aquarium plants and it's worked really well. Also, my shrimp love to hide in the centers. Very happy I got these, and the price is like a quarter of what my local fish store wanted!

Great product. Adequately packaged. Timely delivery. As advertised. Highly recommended. Albeit a bit pricey for the tiny amount given.

Too Small
These were ok. I like them bigger to where shrimp and fish can go into them. These are just too small around.
