"The Green Hornet:The Series" book is nicely enough presented,printed,published,but it lacks in enough,and in correct and very well researched information on it's subject matter.Overall though,I do like the images(both color, and black & white),and the 2 Green Hornet movie serials(both based on the Radio Show,both available on LEGAL Home Video too),are first,with a chapter coverage for both,followed by the Iconic,Legendary,Famous,Cult following,Classic,Vintage,very well produced,1966-1967 t.v.series(still NOT released to legal Home Video,or to legal Streaming either!),starring Van Williams as The Green Hornet,and Bruce Lee as his sidekick Kato,with a nice t.v.episode listing coverage.It's much more a picture book with very limited information,but I can still recommend it to all Green Hornet fans in the end.

This is a really well researched book about the 1940 and 1941 serialized films and the 1966 TV series which starred Van Williams and Bruce Lee. It includes all episodes, numerous photographs, complete cast listings, directorial credits and story synopsis's for all 26 episodes.There is no reference to the 2011 film which starred Seth Rogen (the least said about that the better). 200 pages of pictures and words. What it doesn't have is the 2-part "Batman" episode "A Piece Of The Action"/"Batman's Satisfaction." This book is a great read for anyone who is a fan of The Green Hornet all bound in a nice hard cover and printed on quality paper. Size measures 6 & 1/4 x 9 & 1/4 inches (15.8 X 23.5 cms).

This book is great....lots of color photos and each show has a synopsis. I just think $48.00 is a steep price.If the book was 11 inches tall and 8 and 1/2 inches wide, like the James Van Hise Green Hornet book, and had the color photos, it may be worth $48.00 (the book is 9 and 1/4 inches tall and 6 and 1/4 inches wide).The James Van Hise book is bigger, but hardly has any photos...and the few photos in it is black and white. So this book is better because of all of the color photos....probably over a hundred. So I do recommend this book. If you are a Green Hornet fan, you need to get it!
