Great for the kids - keeps them protected from the sun in Barbados for hours on end, which is no small feat.

I live in a very sunny place and use sunscreen almost daily. Pure Sun Defense is a very good sunscreen. It's fragrance-free and truly mild; it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. When it's initially applied, it is very white, but after a minute or so, it absorbs and doesn't leave skin looking chalky. Best of all, it's made in the USA. My only gripe is that it does leave your skin very oily. If I apply this in the morning, my skin is still oily in the afternoon. I end up leaving greasy marks everywhere I rest my arms, so it's not so practical for everyday use. Great for the beach, though.

Dear Folks, Wait until someone sells it here for a fair price, and not with an exorbitant shipping rate. This is advertised to sell at Walmart for $5.95. And if you wish to avoid supporting Walmart, you can get it in a 6 oz version at Target for about $7. Their price here is ridiculous. It is supposed to be very good, and was actually judged recently to be the 2nd best by Consumer Reports, as a truly effective, accurately represented sunscreen, right after another one that costs much more. Great stuff, but pay a fair price.
