Dancing Naked at the Edge of Dawn
Excellent book, as are all Kris Radish's! This is a book every women should read. Ms Radish has an incredible knack to put into words our innermost thoughts & emotions. Some of it will make you giggle, laugh out loud, gasp in awe & shed tears you've forgotten how to shed! Please gals get out there and buy this book, you won't regreat a second of it!

Read this for a book club
I was a little skeptical because I read some of the other reviews that weren't very favorable. But I enjoyed this book. I wish it would have delved a little deeper into some of the other characters because I came to really like them. It's comforting to think that women really can and do help each other and hold each other up. In the beginning I was afraid that Meg was going to be another weak woman and I was being invited to her pity party. But she surprised me and I found myself feeling so proud of her.

Beginning compelling, ending ridiculously romantic
This novel's central premise, that we too often get stuck in lives we should outgrow, that change can be liberating rather than terrifying, is valuable. Like Meg, I was confronted with a longtime husband's betrayal, divorced, and rebuilt my life into a far happier one. Radish effectively captures in the first half of the book the physical and emotional consequences of having one's life upended, recently described compellingly by Florence Williams in HEARTBREAK: A PERSONAL AND SCIENTIFIC JOURNEY. But the second half of the book is unconvincing and disappoints, reading as if Meg has been offered a fairy godmother who provides her with every wished-for desire, from a (surprise!) inherited house in Mexico to dozens of insightful women friends to a successful new career to a tender, undemanding lover and now perfect relationships with children. If Radish hoped to inspire women to believe that it's okay to "be alone," to take risks, she retreated from the reality of those themes.

fantastic
This is a great read. I finished in record time and it made me want to read it again immediately. Women, friendship and loyalty make it kind of a chick read, but for insight into a female mind, it is a good experience.

It contained wonderful messages of truth
I enjoyed reading the book but would have loved reading the book when I was in my 40s. The words of wisdom that help women understand that they are empowered would have really helped me. Fortunately, I found other sources.

Just what I needed
I left my husband of 33 years earlier this year, I know I should've done it years ago. This book was a fabulous read and I have been inspired to continue on the road to my own recovery with added strength. Thank you Kris.

Women watch out
This is a great book about the struggles of one woman in particular but blossoms into many women's lives. It is an outstanding book, a must read for women....

Expected more, but enjoyed none-the-less
An enjoyable read where a woman tries to find herself again, after being a wife and mother. To be honest, I expected a little more from the story, as the reviews and synopsis portrayed an extremely freeing and fun storyline. I didn't engage all that much but enjoyed the read none-the-less.
