Modern Quilting: A Contemporary Guide to Quilting by Hand

I've spent a while with this book, dipping in and out. As a textile woman with a fine art degree it raised the question of artistic intention and concept versus craft and technique. Not yet convinced o n either front. There are now lots of people working textiles slowly and meditively, and great skill. This book shows you ou can do that and produce something striking without great technique
