Pacifica Beauty Enlightened Gloss Mineral Lip Shine Poppy

No other color from any other brand in lipstick or lipgloss looks as good on me as this does. I'm fair, but with a warm tone, brown eyes, light brown hair and over 50. It's so hard to find a color that's not too bright or pink or cool. Moisturing, budget friendy for 2022, and less toxic. Can't beat it.

Pacifica lip glosses are simply lovely. Not sticky, just gorgeous natural colours with the perfect amount of gloss. Love.

I purchased two of these Pacifica lip glosses this spring. Both are lovely colors and look very good after application. I am allergic to lipsticks usually (although I find I can wear this brand) so I mostly wear lip glosses. This do not bleed into the fine lines around my lips and are completely non-irritating or drying. In fact, I think they improve the texture of my lips. I sometimes wear a lip pencil underneath the gloss at night, or to lengthen the time the color stays on. I also mix them together or with the Pacifica lipstick to customize my color. I use the Pacifica pencil concealer to negatively outline my lips to prevent smearing, as I am no longer young! This looks better than a dark pencil.

Poppy color is very pretty- a sheer earthy baked orange-red color with a tiny bit of sparkle. Based on the lower price and the dates of the reviews, I assume I must have received old product because the taste is horribly rancid. It's so bad that I am not sure I will wear this very often. The problems I've had with natural and organic cosmetics is that they tend to become rancid very quickly. I've had this same issue with my other Pacifica lip glosses. I remember the fresh ones tasting like vanilla but this tastes like old rancid vegetable oil. YUK

This gloss is EVERYTHING! I originally found it at Marshall’s a few months ago and loved it/used it so much that I searched Amazon since my local Ulta didn’t have it. The packaging is a bit messed up and looks like coconut oil or something spilled on it. Id be hesitant to purchase again through Amazon but I 10/10 recommend the poppy gloss.
