This very charming & old fashioned mailbox isn't just for mail anymore.I was searching for something to hang near my backdoor to keep my dog, Wilson's, poop bags in and to hang his leash on so that they would be close at hand whenever I headed outside to take Wilson for a walk.I knew I wanted something that didn't scream "Dog" and would add a bit of whimsy to the house. As soon as I spotted this mailbox I knew it was perfect. Charming, quaint and slightly unusual.I also wanted something that would keep everything dry and out of sight. - I think I found the perfect solution & nobody would ever guess that it had doggie poop bags hidden inside it.It wasn't in stock when I ordered it but I was patient and when it arrived it was definitely worth the wait.The mailbox is fairly large and I was thinking about getting another one (in a different color) to hang by my backdoor to put my gardening gloves in & hang my sun hat on!

I have been looking for a mailbox for what seems like forever but couldn't find anything that I really liked. Either unspeakably boring with no personality or really cheesy and too much personality lol - and they all seemed very expensive.My former mailbox came with the house when I bought it in 2002, and it was plastic and loose (literally, it sat on the porch) which was not ideal - but like I said, I just could never find a new one. That changed when I saw this mailbox though - and being a bit of a francophile - this mailbox spoke to me!It's a great size, it can easiy hold all my magazines and small parcels and it's so adorable, I just love it and smile everytime I look at it! It's actually up and mounted too, I bet my postman is so happy for us!

I really like the vibrant red. My house is gray/white so that adds a nice pop of color. It goes well with any seasonal decor. I can’t wait to see it with my outdoor winter decorations. I like how deep it is and durable. Even my mail carrier commented on it, she thinks it’s the cutest mail box in the whole area. So there you go, it’s mail carrier approved :)

I purchased this To be used outdoors, unfortunately it is not watertight and mail does get wet. But other than that it’s adorable

The Post bold is great—many of my neighbors have given me compliments on it.Having the paper holder (hooks) on the bottom is a real plus.

The product was advertised cream but it is more white

The mailbox that turned up was white, not cream and looked like a child had poorly painted red splotches of paint around the sides and POST writing. Ended up painting over the red so it at least worked with the front of our house. Could have saved time and money by getting a cheaper white mailbox and painting it myself.

It's the mailbox beside my front door on a covered porch. Nice and roomy, easy to hang, and the newspaper holder was easy to attach to the box. I really like the subtle paint trim and the embossed "post" lettering.

This is nothing like the picture. Hand painted “rust” that looks like pink designs. Makes it look cheap. I have to now paint this myself. Would have never bought this had I known.
