Beautiful Watch!
It is my first automatic watch ever. I have had this watch for 2 weeks now and I love it! It is relatively smaller and thinner than other automatic watches. So perfect for a guy with skinny arm and wrist. I works well with dress and casual.

Sucked Product and Sucked Service!
I bought this as Christmas gift for my boyfriend, then he went to Hawaii and jumped into a swimming pool which has the maximum depth of 5 feet. Now there is water inside the watch. But what really sucks is that both Amazon and the retailer refused to fix this problem. Amazon says it is out of 30 days window, the retailer says Amazon is not the authorized retailer!Come on, this watch is worth $1,000, and that's the service that comes with the watch! A watch that claims to be water proof for 165 feet but failed in a 5 ft deep swimming pool! I will never buy watch from them again!Update on 03/07: I just got an email from Raymond Weil U.S.:"Thank you for contacting Raymond Weil, USA with your inquiry. We regret that you are having problems with your Raymond Weil timepiece. Please be advised that Jomashop.com, Amazon.com or any other internet retailer are NOT authorized Raymond Weil dealers. Raymond Weil time pieces are sold with a 2 year warranty and the warranty is valid from date of purchase, provided that your Raymond Weil time piece was sold by an authorized Raymond Weil dealer and that the certificate of warrantee was completed properly. If you received a Raymond Weil Warranty card and you have the proof of purchase we would be able to make an exception and repair it under warranty, provided that there are no accidental damages to the timepiece. In order to repair the watch we would need both warranty card and sales receipt(invoice ) without both we are not able to repair under warranty."Unfortunately, my watch doesn't come with a warranty card and Amazon doesn't provide a valid invoice, so I have to abandon this watch and repair it at my cost! Please NEVER buy any luxury or expensive stuff from here again!I learned this lesson at the cost of $1,000!

Beautiful Watch, just a bit small for me though
I've been keeping my out out for a Raymond Weil for a while, and when I saw the Maestro with the open top and back, I really liked the look and went ahead and purchased it.It arrived the next day in a gorgeous box and packaging.I really like the look and feel of this timepiece but the only issue is that the face is a bit too small for my liking, which is why I can only give this 4 stars. Other than that, beautiful watch.

Scratched
I ordered the watch and when I first opened it, I saw a scratch on the frame. I asked for a refund and it was given to me without any problems. Hopefully I get a watch without any damage this time. Other than that, it's a beautiful watch and very much worth the price.

Elegant. Refined. BEAUTIFUL!
I can not speak highly enough about this Raymond Weil Open Heart Watch. Unlike most watches, the beautiful movement of this automatic watch is visible while wearing the watch, allowing you to see it's "heart beating"/balance wheel in motion through the tastefully cut hole on the watch face. Still pictures can't capture this, and it's so beautiful I often find myself gazing at the watch face and this little marvel of modern machinery. To me, the watch looks more expensive than it actually is. Other nice features are, of course, the automatic movement sweep second hand, the roman numerals, the silver guillochet dial, the"RW" embossed crown, the anti-reflective sapphire crystal (which allows you to view the time irrespective of the watch face's angle to your light source), and last, but not least, the sapphire crystal transparent back. Size wise, I have a relatively thin (i.e., 7 1/2-inch) wrist so, for me, the 40 mm dial size is just perfect. Despite the price and the refined character of the watch it, oddly, did not come with a deployant buckle. No problem. I ordered a Modena Watch 16mm Premium Push Button Deployant / Deployment clasp / buckle - Polished Stainless Steel from Amazon to dress the watch up a bit and help the leather band to last a little longer. I highly recommend installing a deployant buckle to any leather watch band as doing so will preserve the life of the band much longer than the traditional tang-style buckle. After owning this watch for about 7 months now, I must say that it keeps time very, very well for a non-chronometer automatic watch, and by that I mean no loss/gain of more than 1 minute per month. I highly recommend this watch if you're in the market for a tasteful dress watch that stands apart, from a style standpoint, from many watches on the market today.
