Remix Double Chain Practice Basket for Disc Golf - Choose Your Color

Since these were some of the lower-priced disc golf baskets for sale- either from Amazon or local sporting goods stores near me, I was concerned that I might find cheap junk when I opened the box. Nothing could be further from the truth. I found a sturdy, complete and easy-to-assemble disk golf basket. (No tools- just a knife to cut a few zip ties!) I like the base- it lets me move the basket anywhere in my yard. No holes to dig for a basket on a pipe alone. Good product!

I play lot of disc golf (970 rated) and wanted more baskets for a small course at my house so I got one of these to try them out. Basket was super easy to assemble, no tools required. Was surprised to find a MVP warranty card in the box with it. Guess is the same basket with a different name? Anyways, it’s an awesome practice basket for the money. It’s sturdy enough on flat grass but comes with stakes too just in case. It’s lightweight metal and the chains are on the lighter side but catchs well. I spin putt hard and it caught everything it should have. It also makes a very satisfying ping when you make the putt since the pole is solid metal. Planning on purchasing 4 more since it was so good for the money. I’ll update later when it’s been outside for a few months to see how they hold up.Update: found that the “deluxe” basket from remix is the same price. Side by side, they are almost I identical except for the band and the fact that the inner chains on the deluxe have holder so they don’t slide around making it catch more consistently. Would recommend the deluxe over this one.

The goal is very easy to install and appears to be very rugged. The flag does not stay on the staff under spring winds so we will be making three new flags and putting a small bit of E6000 on the top of the flag pole to keep it from blowing off, but allowing replacement as the flag becomes tattered. Nice product.

Easy to put together, not too heavy so you can move it around if you need too or put it away for the day. Comes with stakes if you do want it to stay outside for awhile. Always lots of fun especially when you have people over.

I was pretty surprised. This basket for the price i paid $79 is pretty awesome. Now if it was $100+ i might have got the MVP. But this thing is not to heavy and easy to assemble. Fully assembled it feels solid. The Chains could be a bit heavier and frame thicker. If you. Hit it dead on hard, the chains are alittle light and disc will hit the pole. But for a practice basket cant go wrong.

Basket is a good balance between being sturdy and yet mobile. It is a little heavy to carry around too much or too far, but I just use it around the house and it works great. I don’t have to use the anchors - it is stable without them. The chains are nice and heavy. I store it out of direct rain and the chains still look new without any rust/oxidation. The flag is the only thing that really could be improved, but is not an integral part of the function. It can be removed/not installed and not affect the unit. The pieces will unscrew after repeated transfers, but they are easily tightened back up and do not loosen during play.I am happy with the purchase and would recommend if you need a portable disc golf basket.

Sturdy and good quality - you will not have to worry about this basket tipping over. Easy to assemble - takes me less than 90 seconds to assemble and less than 60 seconds to disassemble. I put some cardboard down and it fits nicely in my Corolla trunk for transport to the park. IIRC it's 25 lbs. or less so comfortable enough to carry to where you want to set up. Check other posts - I copied the fuel line trick to get the chains to stay separated and it works great. Used some construction paper and shipping tape on the center pole and that cut the noise by 50 - 75%. Still get that nice chain rattle, but now it doesn't sound like someone's playing drum cymbals in my apartment. Very happy with this basket and the price was great as well. Friends always want to toss putters when they come over to my place now. :)

We had purchased several of these with the thought we could take them with us places.After they arrived, we realized that they are not really suitable for "traveling games" as they are too heavy and large.These would be phenomenal to be set up & left in place! Good quality, solid - I wish I had a place to set them up permenantly!
