Very useful when it's time of decision. We always think and go upto decision. After reading this book I found, how I was poor thinking. Best book of this year. Who change life.

It is a book on human biases, heuristics, errors etc. There are total 99 chapters (99 biases) and each chapter is 2.5 pages long. Book is practical in application unlike other self help fantasy books. The author explains each bias with an example or a story. The explanations are short, simple and clear. The bad thing is it has 99 biases, some of which could have been combined, also author repeats similar stuffs. Some of the listed biases aren’t that important. You need to read the book steadily to reflect and remember.If you are new to psychology and cognitive stuff then I will definitely recommend it. But if you are into psychology already then you may find it basic and get disappointed.

Gifted this book to a very good friend of mine on New year, and it's a good read. Not for someone who's too much into psychology and all, but decent for beginners to get going.

The Art of thinking Clearly is one of the most clearly written book.there are 99 chapters 2-3 page each & each is chapter independent.thus can pick any chapter & read it at a time.writing is made very easy to read & understand. also references of related chapters is given at end of each chapter. one can pick a thread & continue with related concepts to get better clarity- this is important plus point of book.the author is French & references to French culture & some French words keep popping intermittently, some understanding of French can help to get complete reference & get closely connected with concepts - though it is not mandatory.I had purchased hard cover book in amazon deals for Rs 149 looking at catchy title & very good reviews- the book even addresses such kind of action with reasons behind it and how marketers take benefit of that.this book is excellent item for reading & thinking- very important for corporate & business people. the books has ample examples in each chapter from various fields & one can quickly connect with own experiences.

Every page explains a different idea. For me, it got interesting because the pages are disconnected and no idea is explored enough to hammer the point home. It's like giving someone 100 pieces of advice on life, only to have none of them stick in their head. Not a useless book, but not very effective, in my opinion.
