Sargent Art 1 Pound Tub of Art-Time Dough x 6 Colors, Non-Toxic, Very Malleable, Adaptable, Easy Storage, Reusable

I had purchased the larger 3 pound tubs in the past but my kids requested more colors so I opted for the six 1-pound tubs this time. It was packed in bubble wrap and none of the tubs were cracked. The colors are great (tried to get a picture of all of the tubs but my son had the blue one before I knew it, so that's just a bit of the blue next to the full tubs), the ones you get are the ones that are shown. I love that it isn't a gamble and we don't have to worry about getting a bunch of a color we don't like. I find the texture better than the name brand play dough, it's very soft and goes through extruders easily. The smell is different, hard to describe but almost a light fruity scent. It's a very light scent though, so it isn't a problem and we all like it anyways. As I said, we had purchased the 3 pound tubs and looking at both, one of these smaller tubs are more than enough for one child. Depending on what you were doing, I'd say you could probably split one of these up between up to 4 kids and they'd have plenty to play with. It comes in four balls squished together, so theoretically it would be easy to divide up, but it is packed into the container with no room to spare so you really have to dig it out (and you end up with a lot of dough under your nails). But I think that's to be expected when dealing with play dough.

This dough has a great texture. It is not crumbly, rubbery or overly moist and sticky. I prefer this dough to the name brand competitor. The dough comes in little buckets with handles, that will be re purposed for sorting and carrying other small items in my childcare center. Each color has enough for 2 children to play with ample dough for each child.

This clay is great. I ordered it for my two toddlers. It’s easy to handle, a good consistency, and has a light fragrance that’s isn’t overwhelming. We only used a little bit when we got it. I was able to store the used clay in a zip top bag and use it again. I left the rest of the unused clay in it’s original containers and a few months later it’s still good, no dried out bits. I broke up the unused clay into smaller containers to store for later. If we ever need more, I will definitely look to buy this again.

This dough is softer and smells way better than the classic that we all grew up with. I homeschool 4 small kids so I know my modeling dough, friends. This is my new go-to, for here at home and as gifts.

Bought this particular brand because of the size/amount, price and mostly for the fact that it says manufacturers USA. To my disappointment after receiving it the packaging clearly says "made in China".The bins are VERY difficult to open especially for little hands so if you are looking for ease of use for kids...these are not it! The colors are great! The amount you get is great!

This is a good value and the colors are very vibrant. This feels and smells far better than the name brand stuff. Do use an old shower curtain or large opened box under the play area (it's a pain in the butt to get out of carpet.)

In my opinion, this is the best play dough around! It stays soft! I really can't say how long, because I bought some 6 months ago and it is still as soft as when I received it.

I like the consistancy of the doh. It has a softness that is pleasant, and doesnt dry out quickly like other brands, so it lasts much longer. It even smells nice, which was a total added bonus here. I will definitely buy this again.

I bought this specific brand of play dough because I've used it before, and I really liked it. It was soft and stayed soft for a long time. However, this entire batch that I bought has been crumbly and disappointing. I won't be buying again.

Packaging has changed and quality of product. Very crumbly. I've been buying these for a couple years and last 2 packages were packaged different and playdoh doesn't last long as is very crumbly. Very disappointed.

The tubs were really hard to open and ended up cracking and giving me a deep cut.
