Aunt Fannie'sPest Powder, Effective Against Fleas & Ticks, Multi Surface Use for Pests, 11.5 oz (Single)

I have been in an annual war with the neighborhood sugar ant colony (mostly because we haven't found where they originate from), this year they invaded with a vengeance. The typical toxic chemicals are too harsh, immediately kill the ones you spray but they always come back within hours. This morning I put this down in the corners of my countertops (even used a squeeze bottle to force it into the cracks I couldn't reach), tossed some behind the fridge and under the oven and they have not been seen the rest of the day. They immediately fled the area. I'll update this at the end of the week for how long the affect lasts, but so far this is a game changer! It was also nice to feel safe to be able to toss this wherever I saw them will little worry of fumes or if it would hurt my pets but it does have a strong essential oil smell.

The grains are larger than I anticipated, which makes it a little awkward to sprinkle on places like carpets and along baseboards. I also wish that the delivery system allowed you to pinpoint where you’re pouring a little better (you sprinkle it like from a spice container, which makes covering small areas tricky.)HOWEVER, the ants really do seem to hate it. We sprinkled under our dining room rug and in the floorboard cracks near our cat’s dish and it’s kept them at bay so far.

The smell was pleasant. I used this product this week. I sprinkled it in and around my vents to try to keep the crawly pests away. It seems to have worked so far.

It seems to be working, but it stays gritty around doors and such. The scent is nice, but really strong for people with issues with strong smells

This stuff is very strong scented. My husband had to open the windows for a few days in a row. Gave us headaches, hurt to breathe, and made eyes water. The ants started away for a little while, but we had to vacuum some up because we just couldn't take the smell.

If you accidentally get it wet, then it looses its effectiveness. The scent is nice, but can be overpowering at times.

I ordered this as we were finding ants in the dog food bowl. We have hardwood floors and I sprinkled this in the cracks of the floor and put the placemat and bowl back on the floor. No more ants! It is great. Yes, it can be a little messy I just needed to be more careful when I sprinkled it between t he cracks of the floor. I would def. recommend.

This is very effective and i especially enjoy it for the carpet in my home. I wish it came in a bigger size though!
