Wonderful flavor
Maitake mushrooms are hard to find. They are also recommended for their anti-cancer value. I decided to try them and I was very happy with their taste. It only takes 30 minutes to get them ready for cooking. They made a wonderful tasting broth for my stir fry. Would purchase again.

I bought these at my local market and can attest to their delicious taste, but after reading the fine print on the back of the label I was very disappointed to find that these mushrooms are grown in China. But how can they have a USDA certified organic label, you ask? I'm afraid that is provisional at best, another economic concession to the Chinese state.
