Simple is best
I have used this for my mini ipad as a knee pad while flying in some truly horrific turbulence. It stays in place. Nice that it is universal fit for all the generations of iPad mini, but the holders do get in the way a tiny bit. Overall…solid

Good quality. Ipad mini 6 too big to fit with case.
Well made. Good luck fitting an iPad mini 6 in there. It is too small for my iPad mini 6 with Zugu Case. Will need to either use without case or buy a different kneeboard. Probably fits older model iPads without case ok.

Large model does not fit iPad Air 3d generation
There is not enough stretch in the holding loops to accommodate iPad Air. Also does not fit iPad gen 5.In the picture, stretching loops can’t be pulled out further than about the edge of the board straight out, there is absolutely no way to “loop them around the corners” as iPad Air is exactly the same size as the black cardboard base of the holder.Also to note that the holder is not fixable/modifiable as everything is stitched straight into the cardboard backing.Overall - it may work for smaller devices, just not the ones on the “compatibility list”
