I was really surprised at the quality of these when I took them out of the box. They’re very heavy plastic and look great. It was easy to take top off and turn them each on, which was a great idea to keep them dormant in the box. (Although, yes, it was a pain to have to open each and every one and turn it on...it was worth it.) As soon as I turned it on, because my hand was over the sensor, the light turned on. So it came pre-charged which was cool!I do want to point out that in order to put the stakes in the tube, you are sort of SHEARING the plastic of the stakes a little. Hopefully this means they’ll actually stay wedged in there and not come out by accident; but it is a bit disconcerting to know I’m essentially breaking a brand new product.There were enough of these that I was able to place them along my front door’s path and have a few left over. Which was awesome. They also look really great outside in the garden.My only gripe is - they’re not all that bright. I guess I was expecting more of an illumination for my pathway, but instead these just make a sort of soft glow that would simply indicate the boundary for the pathway. This was MY ERROR, however. If I wanted something to light the path, I’d have needed a completely different product altogether.Lastly, I wish I could capture the glow these give off at night because it’s beautiful - a lovely pattern, but sadly my camera can’t capture such a low-light setting. So I can’t share their aesthetic with you when in use.

I bought these to put on my path to the front porch. I have metal wheelchair ramps over the steps so people often trip over them in the dark. Thankfully these were definitely bright enough to illuminate the entire path so people are aware of the ramps. I was a bit worried that I would not be able to assemble and place them since I have limited use of my hands. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it all was.

The media could not be loaded.  These were exactly what I was looking for, I did not want something to light up my yard, just enough light to make my walkway safe at night for guests. These worked perfectly, first of all there are enough lights in teh box to actually be of use and they put put and almost perfect circle of light that illuminates my walkway at night and from all appearances on a partly cloudy to sunny day they stay on all night or close to it. So for VALUE + PERFORMANCE + EASE OF USE this is an easy 5 Star rating

Just got these this morning and put them in between my little Zen garden and my pavers that I just put in. They are so cool! The dirt was a bit hard in that area so I watered it down a little and then I used a rubber mallet to tap down the spikes only and then added the metal pole onto the spikes once they were already in the ground- that technique worked very well. And I just went outside tonight and was amazed at how beautiful they look!

The size, the design they leave on the ground, the durability (they get hit by the water sprinkler every morning), not too bright of a light…they could be a bit more “artistic “ but they do the job and I wasn’t looking for something too flashy. The light isn’t super bright, but that’s how I wanted it. They aren’t so bright that they hurt my eyes to be surrounded by all the little lanterns. It’s more of a “magical “ garden or side walk light feel.I have had them since May, I think, and they still work just fine.*The lights in the video that I am reviewing are not the flickering lights, but the ones that great a pattern on the ground. I feel like they are much brighter and prettier than they look in the video. I can’t load any of my pictures without them being cropped a lot for this review for some reason. The video is all I have.

I have a long driveway (which seems to attract people driving over the sprinklers), thus I decided to add some upright lights to the side to discourage the driving behavior. I like the bright white lights, so I found these that came in a package of 12. They were trivial to install and added a nice light to the side of the driveway so anyone could see the edge at night. I tried other brands, but the nice silver color stands out during the day and the bright white is great at night. I love these lights.I liked the initial package enough to buy a second set for my backyard walkway. These add a nice ambiance for the evenings when I like to sit on the back porch and enjoy the outdoors. I have a large number of plants and trees in the back yard but these charge well even with the coverage.

This item came in a timely manner. The lights were easy to put together. I loved that there were 12 in the box, it was the perfect number to place in my front flower bed. They are well made, look more expensive than they were and light up my front flower garden very well. I definitely recommend these for a gift and for anyone’s yard.

I've placed them in different locations in my front yard close to some shrubs and underneath small palm trees with some limited sunshine and they are still doing a great job illuminating my front yard. They are definitely no flood lights, but they are a huge upgrade to my yard during the night because now I can see all the objects during the night where it has been fully dark before. It's like position light on a runway and making the front yard looking much larger during the night. Haven't had any problems so far. Just fast and easy assembly and put into the ground and now they are shining maintenance free and they even survived a small first hurricane here. Seems to be a really good and reliable product.

They only stay alight for an hour or so. Some have died completely after only a few weeks. Very disappointed
