A great dive light!!!
What a great dive light! The size and weight are handy to always bring it with you (without issue), the output in power and beam are great, and the quality of the construction is/feels top notch! For the money (or any money) I could not be happier! I think I will be giving these as presents to my dive buddies! It included the charger, two batteries, spare O-rings, and had a nice lanyard installed on it. The packaging was also nice.I have three other dive lights by big name companies in the same lumen range as the Odepro WD12 (the three I own are rated at 1200 lumens, the WD12 is 1050 lumens), but the WD12 is the smallest form factor of the lot (see pictures for size/scale).The first thing I did was to charge one of the two provided batteries with the provided charger. The charger is nice, it is a single cell charger and the LED indicates red when charging and green when the cycle has completed. I works great, feels well made, very comparable to the other chargers that I have received with much more expensive dive lights.Once the first battery was fully charged, I did a head to head test by comparing the light against a wall against the 1200 lumen lights that I own (short test so I wouldn’t damage the lights by running them out of the water). It definitely puts out about the same amount of light as the other lights, and the beam is very nice (a decent spot/flood type beam so a center weighted beam that still gives you some flood (very nice for diving to not have a laser like flood)). The color temperature is also not as white/blue as most lights, which should help in lower visibility water. So, the rated output seems absolutely legit. After the quick brightness and beam test, I filled up a large container of cool water and did a test of the 2-hour run-time on the high setting. I did this test immediately after the battery charger signaled “green” and after playing around with it for a little while, but the light still shined at the 2-hour mark. The light output does begin to fall off a bit at the end of the run, which is WAY better than just shutting off (you know when your light is running out of power both by the handy indicator on the switch (which works, green, red, flashing red) and the output dimming a bit). So the rated run-time is also absolutely legit, even when I started with a slightly used battery. This thing will easily outlast your air on night dives, or days of “as needed” usage during the day. With the extra battery, you probably don’t need to charge very often. Conclusion: This little light packs a big light punch in a tiny package. I am very happy with it, and I cannot wait to dive with it! I will update this review after testing it in the field.***Update 6/2020; I have used this on a bunch of dives, including a couple 100’ dives without issue. It is a great light. I will update if any issues arise, but I am very happy with this unit.

Quality dive torch with a hard to beat price!
I purchased this light to use as a back-up light for a recent dive trip to Cozumel. It is lightweight and shines bright. I like the narrow beam which is good for pointing out critters and searching under crevices. It also has an indicator to let you know how much battery life is remaining. This wasn't a factor, as the battery easily held a charge which lasted the legnth of the dive with plenty to spare. If you are looking for an inexpensive, quality light for diving, this is a good option. It would be hard to beat the price for an underwater dive torch!

A Great Dive Light
When I started diving, a dive light was a luxury gadget, and sometimes it caused more headaches. These days, a dive light is a must, even for day dives, mainly because it gets cheaper, more powerful and much smaller. When I got this light I was surprised how light and small it is. It is very easy to operate, with or without gloves, and the indicator is helpful. It uses one standard 18650 battery, which I already have plenty. I would avoid any lights that use proprietary battery system. I like 18650 or 26650 batteries, most of which can provide very large lumen and last for at least one hour or more. I can simply swap the batteries between the dives. A charger is included as well. It is indeed very bright and powerful, significantly brighter than 800 lumen light which my dive buddy carried. I used this light in my recent dive trip in Okinawa Japan. I was super happy with it, especially during a night dive and two dives with thunder storm on the surface. A great dive light.
