Excellent markers with good instructions to get the best effect from them. Lovely to use.
First impression, on opening the box, I like the presentation of thus set. There is something ‘serious’ and professional about the look of the pens and the way they nestle in the custom-made recesses in the pack that makes it stand out a bit and says it’s not just a ‘kiddy’ colouring set.The pens have a nice feel in the hand. All 10 pens are double-ended; all have a fine tip at one end and at the other end, 5 have a chisel tip, 5 have a softer brush-type tip. The colours are bold and vivid and transfer to the paper smoothly and easily. The point of the double end is you can do careful colouring with the fine point and fill larger areas with the bigger tips but, as they both draw from the same ink reservoir, you are guaranteed they are both the exact same colour and ‘you can’t see the join’, as Eric Morecombe might say! (Personally, I preferred using the brush to the chisel). The instruction/guide booklets are clear and helpful as to the ways to use these pens to the best effect. Mostly it’s about layering colours, either one colour on itself to create a stronger pigment (for shading, etc.) or one colour on another to get new colours. It’s not hard to understand and you can see I had a go and I think I got a very nice look to the bit I did - it helps to have a feeling for where the highlights and shade occurs naturally on things. I was pleased with how my little experiment turned out.The set I have had the images of manga characters, appealing to a lot of kids and teens, though there are other sets with different styles of pictures. There’s also a black fineliner pen to draw your own. These are definitely pens for older children, teens and even adults. Not just because it’s be a waste to give them to small children who wouldn’t appreciate how to use them properly but because they are alcohol-based markers (and smell like it!). This is the one area where I would offer some criticism/advice to the manufacturer: I’m assuming these are non-toxic and the smell of the markers are non-intoxicating (because I find it hard to believe you’d be able to sell them if they were) but I’ve looked through the list, the packaging and the enclosed leaflets and can find no reference to this issue at all. I think it would be helpful and wise of the seller/manufacturer to make this very clear, both in the listing and somewhere on the product.

Premium art sets
Very good art sets, 9 pieces of A4 size cardboard. My favorite is its pen. The nib of the fountain pen is round and very smooth when writing. Here are 10 double-headed color markers. They have different thicknesses at both ends, which are very suitable for coloring. Bright colors and smooth ink.

Colouring for adult beginners
I was excited to try these pens as an alternative to regular colouring as they claim to apply more smoothly and work well when layering and blending.I tested one of the pens on the back of the thick card that was supplied with various designs on - and was very disappointed that drawing a very light line, bled straight through the card and was visible on the other side. I dread to think what would happen if I had layered strokes as the instructions suggest. It comes with some interesting pamphlets teaching you how to use the pens as well as how to add highlights and shadows. The pens are a slightly stretched hexagonal shape which gives an interesting grip when colouring. The set comes with 5 classique pens and 5 illustrator pens as well as a thin black outliner. I did find the colours supplied to be very vibrant and I will make sure to have something underneath to protect my desk next time!
