This product does not come with the square insert that is required before you can even use it. The knobs used to tighten your workpiece in place do not extend far enough unless you're squaring up 2+ inch thick material but likely, you're squaring up something for cabinets, frames, etc.This is misleading for a couple reasons:1. The item shows the insert with it2. The item is priced almost exactly (off by a penny) as the price directly from the manufacturer only theirs DOES include the square insert - for the same price.

This is a good jig but knocked it down cuz the right angle piece that goes with it didn’t come with this. This is useless without the black right angle piece. Once I got that too then this was a good purchase. Have used it multiple times to join sides of boxes and cabinets. Get the right angle piece associated with it! It has many functions.

Just a heads up, no point in buying these without the 29190. Just bought four, and they feel like an absolutely pointless purchase. This is priced as the same price as a set on the Rocker website. (Amazon shopping experience is better than that of the Rockler website, so I bought here.)I would say that I will think twice before ever making any Rockler purchase ever again.

This product is absolutely useless without the items that is sold separately but marketed as if it does come together. Companies like this should be banned from Amazon

As others said, this is very misleading. Does not come with the pictured black assembly square and cannot be used without it for most sizes of wood. It’s nearly the same price as the package with the assembly square on Rockler’s website, furthering the confusion. The nearly useless item that arrived today is double the price of the same item on Rockler’s website. Returning it.

They work, like them, but they are way overpriced, not cost effective....

The fact that the assembly square isn’t included is a rip off and misleading. Very disappointed to have to purchase another item at a similar price to get the thing to work.

Arrived promptly and worked quite well. I am very pleased. I would highly reccomend.
