As much as I love this bag (and I really do love it) I was walking home in the rain from work yesterday, and found that this bag is totally NOT waterproof, which is such a shame and a bit of a letdown for such a great bag :(

This is a very substantial pack. I purchased it for short, 2-3 day motorcycle trips, essentials only with a tent lashed to the pillion seat. The packs appears very well made, sturdy zips and stitching. Having had one or two dry test rides with the bag loaded, it remains comfortable and secure whilst worn with a chest and hip belt holding it in place. Once set, I merely taped the excess straps with rhino tape to stop them flailing around in the wind. At capacity there was no sign of strain on stitching. I don’t have experience of wet weather but I haven’t bought it for this reason, being an all weather rider I’ve learnt NOTHING on a bike is ever waterproof unless you buy a specific waterproof sack.All said this is a great day pack, the 180 opening main compartment helps - not having to pull everything out to get to what’s at the bottom makes it seem more like a small suitcase.I’m very happy and will definitely consider the sellers range first if I need additional luggage.

Excellent backpack...sturdy with ample space.......BUT BUT BUT....wheres the side slots for the water bottle and flask..????

Quite a large pack, but very sturdy fits all I need and more. Plenty of room can be used for work or hiking easily fit a tent in. Plenty of pockets. No side pocket for bottles but that's just a minor draw back. All in a very good pack very comfortable to wear and looks like it would take some punishment. If you are looking at a pack that is not massive but big enough to handle the job then for the price this is the biz.

This is a great backpack, the construction quality is outstanding. It's very rugged.There is plenty of space and compartments for storing anything from a laptop to a wet pair of trainers socks while ensuring one doesn't cause damage to the other.The molly system is universal so it is compatible with a multitude of molly accessories and extension pouches, such as water bottle holders and so on.
