Rothco 2266: G.I. Type Large Alice Pack with Frame

only complaint I have is that fabric is thinner than i expected. From the inside, you can see the small light through the stitching.

I never got the bag yet but what I dislike is that the backpack causes cancer that's not cool.

This pack seems of good quality cept on the canteen pouches there’s no sinch string with tab to tie them down tight like on a real Alice pack. Thus running around with it would make the canteens bounce up and down.

Bought Used, not that Bad, not as tough as the real G.I. Issue. I Purchased this same Rothco Alice Pack on Ebay same as listed here, same product from Rothco. The Pack I used in the Marines in 2001 was so much tougher, heavier, all around super tough. Though I got this pack for Bugout purposes for if SHTF Happens, it is a great pack for that, you can do upgrades which I have done for cheap. I got Condor Battle Belt with inside tactical Belt & Attached it easily no issue to the Rothco Alice Pack. I Purchased an Alice Pack Back Foam Pad that securely fits, and Straps to the Pack to keep your Back Comfy. I also Used the FILBE/Molle 2 Upgraded USMC or ARMY Ruck Sack Shoulder Straps with this Alice Pack, Great Upgrade. The Handle upgrade is also another that helps make this pack great. I Have also had Molle Straps Sown onto this Alice Pack along with 2 cheap Alice type combat belts 1 sown just under the top ammo pockets, & the 2nd sown onto the pack at the bottom of where the bottom ammo pockets are. I have also sprayed the pack down with Scotch Guard water repellent, after these easy cheap upgrades the used Rothco Pack seems to be more functional, tougher, tiny bit heavier but not by much.
