Just make certain that you take dimensions of you pc box size and what options for cooling fans (CPU, MB, etc) you plan on using. I the features it is update todate memory, SATA, NVE. PCIE 3.0 4.0 etc.I installed Intel I-Core 7 11th generation. It is my "internet supplemental" PC desktop in a Soprano box and a 600 WATT P.S. An intermediate GPU. I like it alot almost as robust as my RYZEN 9.0 CPU system with CPU comparable memory etc. Cooler MASTER HYPER 212 a little tight fit but workable...

Installed it powered right up with no bios update at all. As fast as my Asus B550-F wifi atx board.

I have been running this motherboard for over one year now without any issues.

I am a PC tech of 30 years.This board is in high demand, mostly because CPUs do not blow out.. boards blow out.And the price of this board is artificially high, but I wanted something with a warranty, so I bought sold by Amazon, shipped by Amazon. otherwise ASUS will not cover warranty.When I got the board, it inside a bigger box and packaged sloppy. There was a shipping label on the product box as well as the outer protective box. This is bad, the product box should be left clean.There was an ASUS sticker on the lid hinge, as if to suggest this was a new board.However, the box had handling indentations all over it. The box looked pre-owned and previously opened. Once I broke the seal, all looked fine.. until I noticed that the aluminum NVMe heat sink was missing entirely.PRE-OWNED RE-PACKAGEDASUS does not make very good board any more. I bought this for its features and warranty. What a waste of time. I sent it back for a credit to my account.Is ASUS or Amazon to blame? I cannot put my finger on it. It all depends on the agreement Amazon has with Asus.. whether Asus repackages and replaces Amazon inventory on its own.. or Amazon makes the judgement call and handles it for Asus.

Asus is the best have been using these bords for years have never lost one.

Dead in only two weeks. (I have the test equipment and know how to use it to be certain it's the motherboard.)DAY 1: Ugh -- looks like warranty support is going to be a nightmare. I'm on my sixth call to them -- their phone system just hangs on you -- give up and try again. Now I have to call them back because the 'service request confirmation email' doesn't include the RMA number, which of course you have to have to send in the motherboard. They said to expect 7 business days turn around time plus shipping time -- so it's going to be on the order of 2 weeks to get a working motherboard. Bad enough that it died, but now the tech support agony too.UPDATE: Apparently they send you the RMA number in a separate email. (WHY?) Let's see how long THAT takes.DAY 5: still no RMA number. Called up. Could barely understand the support person because the phone connection is so terrible, but she created an RMA number for me.UPDATE: ASUS will print you a shipping label, 2 day = $55. Printed my own 2 day (with insurance) = $19.DAY 17: No further peep out of Asus. According to my carrier, they've received it. Called up for an update. "It's in our repair center. Please wait for an email from them." Me: Any idea how long it will be? Them: "Please wait for an email from the repair center."DAY 24: No news.DAY 32: Still no news. I can't be without a motherboard any longer, so I've purchased one from a different manufacturer, and I'm writing this one off. I've had such good experience with Asus in the past -- not so much this time.

Like what other review has addressed, you couldn't really install a heat sink for the second M.2 slot, it gets blocked by the second PCIE lock. Other then that, I am having no issue with this board so far.

This board is straight forward, compact, cost effective and does its job. It actually has less techincal issues than a more expensive board I have bought. I would buy again.

Bought this board thinking it was a value buy coming from Asus. I'm writing this to alert buyers that if you are planning to use the 2nd M.2 slot, you will be disappointed! My build was using 2 M.2 SSD with heatsinks. Well, the one for the M.2 Gen 4 slot was OK, no issue. The problem lies in the 2nd slot for the Gen 3. I could not insert my SSD into the slot because the heatsink was block by the PCIE slot next to it! How terrible! Even after removing the heatsink, you still need to wriggle sideway the SSD into the M.s slot because the PCIE slot catch is too close to the M.2 SSD. Gosh, how can Amazon still be selling such a defective board. Wanted to return but lazy to dismantle all the stuff from the rig. I decided to look at other z590 boards in Amazon and also noticed of some boards having this issue. Buyers, please beware of what you buy. You really need to have a close look at the board layout.

I don't really know how many Asus prime machines I have put together through the years for me, family, friends and at work, but they always work and perform without issues.
