I loved both sets but because they are sisters, I couldn't get one shark and one bunny. So I got both bunnies. They loved them and put them on their beds immediately.

First thing you should know... This is a review for a Vine product, but for whatever reason, I can't access this item in my dashboard and therefore can't leave a review in the normal manner. I just want to reiterate, this is a Vine Voice review, even if the tag isn't there.Moving on.The blanket itself is very soft, very cuddly, and seems to be well-made. The removable pouch for the weights (stitched-together mini sandbags, basically) is a separate piece and doesn't have to be used if you don't wish to.That's where the negatives for me begin... I know the purpose of a weighted blanket, I think they're a great idea and serve a great purpose but this one's a tad heavy for my son and it made him rather uncomfortable to have all of that weight pushing down on him when he wrapped up in it. Removing the weighted part is somewhat easier than it is to insert it (which is borderline a nightmare) and it's not machine (or even by hand) washable, so if you sweat all over it somehow, you're stuck with it stinking.I'm willing to give in to defeat and acknowledge I don't know everything, so I had my wife try it and she came away even less impressed than I was. (We both hate the weighted insert, it's such a pain to get it back in the blanket.) It's like trying taking an angry octopus, grabbing one of their arms, and trying to insert it into a glove, and the Octo ain't havin' it.I do think kids (who are ready for it) will love it, it's adorable to look at, the weighted part does work (if a little too well), and it's super soft. While the issues with the weights are a major detractor for us, the blanket is actually pretty nice and I can recommend it. Just know it's not super fun to set it up.The price is reasonable, too. (Seriously, have you looked at adult-sized weighted blankets, anywhere? Yikes.)

The Soft Landing Animal Adventure Everyday Escapes Character Octopus Pillow is absolutely adorable.The pillow shipped well. It came not compressed but in its regular size format at 6x 28 x 13 inches. It emitted no weird odors or chemical-like smells.The material is incredibly soft and gentle against the skin. It is very squishable! There is a very long tag which you'll want to remove. It is not a perforated type so you'll need to carefully remove it with a sharp pair of scissors to get it..I like it has caused no allergies or skin irritation. There are no hard parts or potential choking hazards on this pillow so children of all ages can enjoy it!There are no loose strings, off-seams, or other poor construction to speak of.It is large so it is not the most perfect pick to bring along when traveling by car, plane, or bus but if taking it along overnight a short way away from home it works. My son is excited about bringing it along to the hotel when we go to the beach soon.It can be machine washed and tumble dried on low.Highly recommended!
