Natural methi seeds; can sprout
I sprouted mine so that I can eat them on my salads. They're a bit bitter, but it helps to rinse the seeds repeatedly over a couple days before they finish sprouting. Mine had pretty good shoots after 3 days, as you can see from my picture. About 75% sprouted, which isn't terrible, but not "the best." The fact that they sprout at all is a good sign that it's a natural product.Prior to sprouting, the seeds have a slight aroma and are very hard/smooth. This is a medium-sized, very simple plastic canister. Unfortunately, the shaker top has holes that are too small for ANY of the seeds to fit through.

Not organic. Not impressed.
Despite the item listing, nowhere on the bottle does it say these are organic, or is there any organic certification mark. The seeds themselves are darker and smaller than my usual methi (also from India), and quite hard. The label says you should sprinkle these "flax" seeds in smoothies and salads. Don't do this with raw fenugreek - you will break your teeth. I suspect the text was copied from another source to be used as decoration. The bottom of the bottle is defective, so the whole thing leans at about five degrees. These aren't inedible, but I am truly unimpressed

Exceptionally fresh
I recently began adding fenugreek seeds to my herbal teas and soups because they're good for digestion, preventing heartburn and lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol levels, while boosting the levels of the good HDL cholesterol. They also contain antidiabetic properties due to compounds that affect glucose absorption, gastric emptying, insulin action and levels of lipid-binding protein. These seeds can be ground in a coffee grinder to sprinkle on salads or added whole to stews, soups and loose teas that are steeped and then strained. These seeds are exceptionally fresh, even moreso than other good quality brands I've tried recently - they have a very nice, strong scent and flavor. These are contained in a plastic shaker bottle - I had to drill the holes a little bigger to allow the seeds to fit through them - and the shaker is very handy.

Really delicious, fragrant fenugreek seeds!
I was surprised how much I like these fenugreek seeds! I threw a bunch in the grinder and spread it into a few Indian dishes that we made recently. It's very fragrant! And it really adds a lot to the flavor of Indian food. I'd like to try to incorporate this in some non-indian dishes to see what it does to it. I'm thinking maybe in a chili or an omelette. This bottle should last a very long time once ground.Highly recommended!

Fresh, Flavorful Seeds
These Fenugreek Seeds by MCSAM are fresh, flavorful, and organic. All good things! Fenugreek seeds are used to spice Indian, Middle Eastern, and North African recipes. They can be used whole or ground. Pan roasting them over medium heat will reduce their bitter flavor. They taste a little like maple syrup with a little bitter aftertaste. Fenugreek works well when combined with other spices.Drinking a tea made of these seeds is said to help digestive issues.I have also read that these seeds can be sprouted and added to salads. I will try this next. I like the idea of eating sprouts.

Great, fresh flavor -- good value for organic fenugreek seeds.
A seven-ounce jar of organic fenugreek seeds. The seeds were double sealed with an outside plastic band and inner seal under the lid. They were fresh and flavorful.Reasonably priced at about $8.50 at the time of our review, this is a good value for seven ounces of organic fenugreek seeds.

It's decent quality
Not sure how in depth one can go here. It's fenugreek, and if you know that flavor this is a good example. Fresh, and the price is good as well. I can't stand this stuff unroasted but roasting in quickly in a dry pan unlocks a ton of sweet, almost nut-like flavor but also a bitterness that is pleasant, like hops in beer.
