All Flavor Gourmet Saltwater Taffy (Assorted, 2.5 Pound)

This taffy is soft and tastes great. It seems very fresh. The only downside is that a few pieces were squished or partially melted, but tbh that’s kind of expected when ordering candy in the mail. 99% of them are fine though and I really look forward to eating the rest

I love saltwater taffy, and I'm not any sort of taffy connoisseur, so I'm very easily satisfied with a basic saltwater taffy. These are definitely not saltwater taffy. I don't even know how to describe the texture of what these are as you can see even opening them as the product was squishy and almost looked melted even though they were not melted whatsoever. In addition, when you chew it it doesn't have a taffy or even taste, it's like thick baby food. Totally nasty and again basic grocery store saltwater taffy would be a 10 compared to this. Obviously it's nonrefundable through Amazon, so I have tried unsuccessfully to contact the seller with my concerns with absolutely no success. I normally suss out products by reading the reviews, but unfortunately the good reviews outweigh the bad reviews on this one, and I 100% disagree that the positive reviews correctly represent this product. Sidenote, I even tried putting them in the refrigerator seeing if they would harden but then they just became hard as rocks and the second you could chew into them, that nasty thick baby food was there again 🤢🤮 literally, even just writing this review makes me nauseous as I can't get the feel and memory of the nasty texture out of my senses.

These taffies are soft and delicious. I got the 2 lb bag and almost couldn't put it down they were so good and fresh. Each one of the assorted flavors was a surprise full delight. A little on the small side but packed full of flavor

Good taffy. Big value for the money. Very fresh. I just wish the flavor was stronger on some of the flavors and wish it had a chart to show you what flavor you were eating.

Salt water taffy brings back memories from when I was a child.

I bought these because I kept seeing taffy reviews on TikTok and wanted to give it a try! Overall, the taffy itself has a good texture. However, some of them seemingly either melted or their flavoring settled wrong and it was so sticky that I couldn't get it out of the wrapper. The intensity of flavor was okay I guess, but I'd say you can definitely taste the flavor more in some pieces than in others. Also, I really wish the bag came with a flavor guide so we could differentiate what's what, some of them are swirled and I genuinely couldn't tell what it was. I'd say for the price it was worth a shot!

I have had generic store bought and fresh made saltwater taffy throughout my life. This taffy is just a step above generic. I have tried many flavors of this sort and have come to love the Cotton Candy flavor variety. I purchased this specifically for that flavor but was greatly dissappointed. I don't know if it was a mistake at the factory, mislabeling, or just a "Gotcha" purchase. It tastes nothing like cotton candy, the best description I can make of the flavor is a milder candy corn. Not a fan of candy corn.I only gave this product 2 stars because it was taffy crafted just above generic.

Some of the reviews stated the taffy was too chewy. Mine are perfect and addictive! I would argue the softness is a great indicator of freshness! So glad I chose these over other unnecessarily expensive choices. The kids get to enjoy a tasty treat after a great day at school!
