JANE VICTORIA – Storage Ottoman, Brown – Faux Leather, Folding Space Saver 30”

I found these things on sale for half price. I even checked them out at other stores, and they really are half price. It is not a gimmick. I ordered one and I like it so much that I ordered a second one. My husband adopted the first one. He hates using the recliner but he likes to have his feet up. I promise, this is the first thing that I have found that he doesn't complain about. He says the height is perfect. He puts his feet on it when he is watching television and his legs are not falling asleep on him anymore. When he is ready to read the mail or look through paperwork, he sits forward in his chair and uses the ottoman as a little table and he sorts his papers on it. He also puts his lap top on it when he needs to go get a glass of water or something, which is easier than putting it up every time. Honestly, we haven't put anything inside of them yet, because we move them around a lot and we prefer them to be empty for that. They will be great this winter for stashing our little throw blankets. I am also planning to get rid of the toy boxes in the living room, which do not fit the decor, and replacing them with these nice looking ottoman's. We have sat on them, but it is not something I would feel comfortable with doing on a regular basis because I weigh over two hundred pounds, but it is fine for the kids. I am even thinking these will be handy when we get out the folding tables for company. They would make great extra seating if we don't have enough chairs. They are much more sturdy than I thought they were going to be. I have told others about them because this is a great box. I would never attempt to stand on one or anything like that, but they are awesome for our needs and are lasting very well with gentle treatment.

I got this ottoman because I wanted to set it in our entryway. It looked perfect for stashing shoes not being used in it AND also a convenient place to sit when you are putting ON your shoesWinter is coming and boots will be in order.Anyways, I was hoping it would be tough enough towithstand a little abuse from my toddler.The answer to that one is mixed.The ottoman was delivered and we immediately set it up.Within 3 hrs my little toddler beastie had broken the side/edge/lip of the lid.She had thrown it off the trunk/base and stepped on it.It did break in 2 pieces BUT still works ...still takes the weightof an adult sitting/standing on it and both my hubby and I sitting on it at once.My hubby weights 200-210lbs and I'm NOT telling how much I weigh LOL!While I am bummed that this didn't last a whole day in my house without getting broken-I am happy that it still functions the same. So no REAL harm done.I LIKE the dark brown color, and that the whole piece is light weight.I find the ottoman very convenient and useful and also very affordable especially sinceI refuse to buy more expensive furniture pieces until my kids are older.The top cover/cushion is plush enough to be comfortable to sit on.The fabric/material used on this is actually sturdy and pretty durable, and I think overall well made for what it is and it's price point.It does have what FEELS like cardboard ( I could be wrong) for the trunk portionbut surprisingly it works so I can't complain.Over all I'm pretty happy with this purchase and I would buy it again for our household.

I'm delighted with this purchase and experienced none of the issues other reviewers talked about. The package was delivered quickly, no damage to the package or contents, the surface of the ottoman is fine, and the size is nice for use in front of a couch for multiple people and storage. We had a 300# or so man come over shortly after assembly who sat on the ottoman and we didn't particularly notice until the end of his rather lengthy visit that he had sat on it with no issues. Therefore, pay no attention on it not supporting adults or only young kids based on our experience. The brown color is a deep brown, but it will blend in nicely in our trailer and provide addition storage which we will appreciate as much as the convenience and additional uses the ottoman will provide.

After 3 years of having to lift my little 10 lb. Chihuahua back on the bed several times in the middle of the night, and 2 attempts at much more expensive "doggy stairs" he wouldn't use, I finally got a full night's sleep last night. Although I didn't purchase this bench for that reason, it was a blessing in disguise.Now onto the bench itself. Although as described, it is very small. It's probably a good idea to measure it out before purchase to get an idea of the dimensions. There is very little storage space so I have no idea how you'd fit any more than a few toys, let alone pillows or anything bulky. That being said, it's very sturdy, attractive looking and well worth the price.Depending on what you're looking for, this is an excellent purchase for the price. For me, for a full night's sleep, I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

These are well made. Sturdy. Beautiful. There is a lot of room for storage. Initially I rated them 5 stars but that was before setting them up. I removed two stars because they are very smelly. After several days with the windows open and a fan running constantly the smell isn't completely gone.I bought 4 of them to help organize my bedroom but can only handle 2 at a time due to the strong odor. They are a practical and lovely solution to organization and space, however, I would not recommend them to anyone with respiratory problems or sensitivity to strong odors. Also, I wish I hadn't stored my linens, sweaters and scarves in them because they are now saturated with the smell. I had to purchase products to help remove the smell from my items. I would probably only order them again to use in a garage or patio.
