These are about half the thickness of what you would think of as regular vinyl mailers, it seems most of those are around 2mm thick, these are around 1mm. I will update this review if I have significant issues in shipping, but it seems like these will be fine as long as you pad them out with scrap cardboard and bubble wrap. In my current opinion, it is better to save the money on these and then use scrap cardboard inside to make them more sturdy, since for me scrap cardboard is completely free(it likely can be for you as well if you look around for it). But that is something to be aware of, and if you are 100% wanting something that you can pack and ship without supplementing it, these are not for you.Update: Have sent out over 20 of these now in the way that described with extra packing. Have had zero issues. I'll most likely be buying them again.

I have been mailing vinyl records for about 6 years now. I hadn't bought any boxes in about a year (since I buy 100 at a time). I was shocked as how thin and flimsy these mailers were. HOW can a company feel good about selling these to unsuspecting customers. I AM NOT WILLING TO JEPORDIZE the record making it to there destination in one piece BECAUSE of these inferior mailers. Also, when these were delivered, the outer box was ripped open and disheveled! Looks like they take as much care sending these out in cheap outer boxes as they do in creating these absolutely horrible mailers. Will not buy from the makers of the boxes again. Thanks for wasting my time. Teribble.

I did my research. This seller not only delivered a good product for shipping LP records, but had the best price I could find as well. Sold. The box arrives a little heavy fyi, watch you back muscles. I am excited to sell some of my tunes to the next generation!

Super thin and cheap. Doesn’t offer much protection

NEVER buy this product if you care about your vinyl records making it to their destination.I only gave this a 1-star review because it was not possible to give it ZERO stars.These are the worst LP mailers I have ever seen -- they are paper thin and the only way I am going to be able to use them is to use at least 3 per shipment by cutting out extra padding from 2 to be then tossed away, just so I can add them to a single mailer to add slightly more protection.These were a HUGE waste of money. Stick to buying from a reputable vinyl supply company like Bags Unlimited. I have learned my lesson and will stick to Bags Unlimited from now on.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT PRICE SERVICE

These are perfect for shipping records and the cardboard is very sturdy. These could definitely be used for shipping comic books, pictures, documents , etc. Unfortunately, they don't provide a lot of space depending on what is shipped. Shipping two records with their covers makes folding the box difficult and could cause damage.
