Decaf coffee is often very weak and I have to select the strongest setting on my coffee machine to get some flavour. This is the opposite. Bags of flavour and a lovely crema. Coffee machine set at 3 beans (out of 5) strength. Delicious

I have tried a lot of different coffees and so far this is the best one for my taste at this price point so I stick to them. I have been through many different Coffee masters beans now and I think this is the strongest one. It always tatses good and fresh. as soon as i get it I transfer it to glass jars to keep its freshness and it stays fresh for quite a long time and I usually go through 1kg for 1 person in 1 month. The Only thing i dont like is the the thin Layer of Plastic on the inside of the plastic bag, i try to buy as little plastic as possible and I dont think this is fully recyclable as there is no recycle log on the pakage but I think its the best brand Ive tryed at this price so i stick to it.

Very dark roast and a very oily bean. Not as refined as some other brands out there. Tastes a little musty like there is a higher robusta content, which isn't to my liking. It also leaves a caustic, almost chemical after taste. Played about with extraction, but only way to mask aftertaste was to drown it in milk.

This is my second bag of coffee masters super crema, the first I ordered back in Sep 2018 and now in Dec. When they arrived first time around the beans looked like the bag had been used in a rugby match, they were crushed beans, little bits all over the place and really oily. I can only assume they were 'bottom of the barrel' for that batch. I returned back to lavazza Super crema after finishing the kilo but found myself missing the stronger and more fuller bodied taste of the coffee master's blend. So as soon as that bag was done with I replaced my order.The coffee beans themselves are really dark, this is a dark roast and appear slightly oily. If the roast and batch date are to be beleived, then they are approx 5 weeks old, very good, typically other brands can be circa 3 to 5 months.It's important to note that these are a combination of arabica and robusta beans, the robusta is what gives this blend its characteristic crema, but it also gives it a more bitter taste and a higher caffeine content. A lot of reviews I have read have complained about the bitterness, but again remember this is a robusta blend and that's to be expected.More accomplished drinkers will be more tolerant to the bitterness and prefer the higher caffeine content to the 100% arabica varaties.The dark bean and crema also gives a perfect canvas for latter art, creating some nice contrasts with the milk.You'll notice when you try to knock the coffee puk out the basket it will typically split leaving parts behind in the basket (Gaggia classic) and this again I believe is evident to the different combination of beans.Don't be fooled by buzz words such as 'citrus', 'chocolate' tones etc, show me a generic espresso blend which isn't. Overall the price is reflective of the quality and its a very competent bean.

Absolutely the best crema, buttery mouth feel and no gut-wrenching sour or bitter aftertaste. If you can only have black coffee or trying to fast and getting used to black coffee with no additives, this is the one for you!

The coffee arrive within three weeks of roasting through amazon, being a blend of robusta and arabica it is easy to get excellent crema, but if you are into subtle flavours look elsewhere, drinking this coffee is like being hit by a baseball bat, that said it is an excellent wakeup drink setting the morning up nicely, strong and dark.

I am writing this as I am drinking the last few sips from this magnificent brew. Not only am I highly energetic, I am also looking forward to whatever come today, which I think is what a coffee in the morning should do.Immediately once the coffee arrived, I was surprised by the quantity for the price I’ve paid. This bag is almost as long as my torso. Upon opening the package, the next pleasant surprise hit me, which was the strong scent of the beans, to the point of coughing - this is a really good sign. While I do not have an espresso machine, I have a Stovetop Espresso Maker which did the job. The result wasn’t as creamy, but definitely creamier than what I tried before. The first sips, once again, caught me by surprise - I am no coffee expert but It has a distinct and unique aroma, unlike anything I’ve had so far. I love it!Additionally, not even 15 minutes pass and I feel it kick in, and not only in it’s waking up powers. Perhaps it’s my untrained body, but my intestines immediately did a summersault and expelled last night’s mistakes in record time. Keep in mind this is the fastest and painless laxative I’ve had that kickstarts your day within 30 minutes.Definitely recommended for busy lifestyles!
