[Abib] Hypoderma SP1-2GF serum Cell repair 30ml

This new serum from the Korean beauty brand features epithelial technology which they claim helps the active ingredients better absorb into your skin for greater effectiveness. They're saying this serum contains both epithelial growth factors, to help skin cell regeneration and fibroblast growth factor to help restore elasticity to aging skin, stabilized with protein transduction to make the usually volatile growth factors stable at room temperature for six months. If that is accurate, not great that there's no best-buy date on this, so not sure when those six months started, or end.Since I'm not a chemist I can't validate any of those claims, and really can't speak to whether what ABIB is selling is based on science, or "science" speak, designed to make snake oil sound impressive.In practice, it felt and worked like many other serums, and does seem to boost hydration and smoothness. It does specify you should watch out for irritation and not use on any open wound, which made me cautious, but in a spot test on my somewhat sensitive skin, I had no irritation so tried using it more broadly, also without incident.Haven't seen any advantages over standard Hyaluronic Acid serums so far, making it a bit hard to recommend, but don't have any real complaints either.

I really wanted to try this product after reading about it on Amazon. They list so much information, except for the country of origin or a full list of ingredients. I took a chance because it sounds really beneficial for aging skin. What I did not realize is that this product is made in Korea. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but I have had some products with a weird scent. Luckily this product does not have a weird scent - it is unscented. It is a clear liquid and seems safe to use. You just need to test a small area of your skin to make sure you don’t have a bad reaction. That scares me a little, but luckily I haven’t had any bad side effects.

Abib has been a bit of a mixed bag for me, especially their sheet masks, and this serum is also a bit of a question mark for me. I've used it daily for over two months and it's just done nothing for my skin. The quality of the product is good though, but I can't just seem to figure out what it's supposed to improve..

A clear, liquid serum that absorbs easily into the skin while also leaving enough on the surface to treat the skin all day. As the day goes on, it actually feels even softer. Does not leave any oily or greasy layers. It will feel a very little bit sticky for a few moments, but give it several more, and that feeling will be gone soon enough. Just layering some moisturizer over it will also get rid of any stickiness. They will work together very well.Makes my skin look and feel younger. Feels soothing and should be good for those with sensitive skin. Good for all skin types.
