I really like the bold colors of the markers. They were a little hard to get started l. However when I opened one it was already started and leaked on my carpet. So be careful when first starting with these. Otherwise they were just what I was looking

Title is deceiving. They're not really "Chalk Pens". They are not to be used on regular chalkboards, which I was disappointed about, but decided to try them anyways. The actual pen says, " Window Marker" and "optimal for all decorating purposes, great on white chalkboards, glass, plastic ceramics, windows, and much more". Now "White chalkboards" to me, means dry erase boards. So essentially these are dry erase markers and not "Chalk pens", which would have lead one to believe they could have been used on chalk. I have a chalkboard I was originally planning on using these for. When they came and I tried them on a corner of the chalkboard I immediately knew that "much more" did not mean actual regular chalkboards. Luckily for me, my chalkboard I was going to use is reversible and ends up being a piece of glass with the chalk background behind it on the other side of the glass. I've attached a picture so you can see how it turned out. Now, I'm a super amateur at writing and making things look cute, but I'm working on it. The markers were interesting to use at first. You have to press down on the tip (which I recommend doing on a paper towel) before writing. It reminds me of my french nail kit pen that I have that you need to press down on the tip to get it to come out. It will then send a big glob of marker mess out, which you don't want to clean up on whatever you're writing on, so use a paper towel. The markers wrote fairly decently, they weren't always even, or consistent and after a while I did need to press the tip down again to get them to write again. Overall the colors are fun, they worked decently, and it'll be nice to have them to switch up my colors on my now "glass board".I received this product at a discounted price for an honest and fair review. Of course I got these top fans for the kids so they can play outside and run on the sidewalk. I also got them a chalkboard that they can play teacher with and using these markers they seem to have a lot of fun with it. It comes with about a color so they don't just have to use white and the talk to the races with the regular eraser or they use paper towel and clean right up. It dries really quick so there's not any mess or anything like that. With the terms of color choices the girls get to pick which ones they want and they split them up evenly. They absolutely love these and that makes me happy because with it being summer time in them out of school there's not a whole lot to do. This is a very nice set of liquid chalk window markers. The instructions are on the front of the pack, as well as on each marker. You do have to prime them just a bit to get them going but after that they work great. They dry super quick and clean up is very easy! This would make a great gift for teachers. They work on windows as well as chalkboard and don't leave any color behind once they are cleaned up. This 8 pack of markers includes pretty much every color you need. I have only used these on the windows and our chalkboard sign outside, but there are many many other things that they can be used on. Just remember to only apply these to non-porous surfaces as they may stain other surfaces. The colors are very bright and vibrant! My kids love them as well. What kid doesn't want to decorate their window in their bedroom? Also it is worth mentioning that these markers have a reversible tip. That means if you can create a fine or bold line just by changing how you hold the marker! I cannot wait to find more uses for these markers.
