The Essence of Fate

I loved this book!! Great story. I read both books and would absolutely read them again. Wonderfully written, definitely kept me up past my bedtime.

What a beautiful story and characters. I didn't know what to expect but it was so good. The emotions and love story I couldn't put down. A memorable book for me.

I thought this was a very good book by first time author, Alison E. Steuart. I found the characters to be intriguing, sexy, and romantic. Charlotte and Ian’s Love story transcends time and I am looking forward to the next book to find out how it all began.Loved Nana’s shocking comments.

Alison does an amazing job describing and giving life to her characters.When I read, I like to escape to a place where all things are possible. I think Alison gives you that in her story. Beautiful love story, and well written.I look forward to the next book from a different time.I read some of the other reviews, and just want to point out that it is impossible to give a true opinion of something if you only “skimmed” through it. Read the book. It is special and imaginative. Well done.. first time author or not!

The first chapter of the book started off intense and the rest of the book did not disappoint. The push and pull of the main characters kept me coming back for more. I loved that I could feel the character's emotions, which made me feel a connection with them. The ending had a perfect little twist that pulled all the little missing pieces throughout the book together.

A beautiful story about finding that now and forever love! Ian and Charlotte are just meant to be. Can’t wait for another book by Alison!!

You are killing me.. My tears won't stop running down my face from the ending.. Ian and Charlotte have such an amazing connection from the start that had me laughing, crying and ready to throw things I was so mad which to me means it's one hell of an amazing story. I can't wait to see how it all began in book 2 of the series. Please tell me you will be writing more? You're amazing!!

I have this 3 stars because the story was written well. It just wasn’t for me. I didn’t like Charlotte at all most of the book. She is highly insecure and slightly immature. I did not like the whole past lives story of the book. I’m not into those. However, I loved Ian and I did like the outline of the story. I just couldn’t get into the whole knowing each other in a past life and how insecure Charlotte was.
