Beautiful Pergola
Best advise-Get an Allen wrench bit for your power drill! It made life ten times easier. I couldn’t imagine cranking all those screws in my hand. That being said I pretty much put this together by myself (39 year old female). Had my son come out and help when it was time to stand things up. But it’s was not difficult. I have enjoyed this now for a few months. I’ve moved it to another patio in my backyard so I could put my pool on my round patio, and think I almost like it better there. Wherever you put this pergola, it really grounds that area and looks like quite the statement piece of structure. Love the shade when it’s needed! Overall very happy with my purchase.

Pay close attention to instructions
It's not too bad putting together. You'll need at least 3 people and a couple ladders to make it easier. 4 people is ideal. Pay attention to the parts especially the top. The directions on the top (canopy) are not well instructed. Once up it was very nice. Put planters under the feet as anchors/stabilizers which doubled as decor. Very satisfied.

Nice system, almost worth the price.
Instructions had a typo or two, so read ahead. Two people needed to assemble. Parts fit close to tight but some small gaps not noticeable from distance. A little flimsy, but should hold up to strong winds OK. Otherwise, beautiful piece that looks very much like a wooden structure. Next time, I'd wait for it to drop in price by 20% to call it a good value. No regrets.

Wish I could give zero stars.
This thing is an absolute disaster. Awful to assemble. It literally took like 6 hours. Pieces were bent and scratched. Finally got the thing up and had our first rain and this is what happened to it. There is nowhere for the water to drain so it retained it all, busted the frame, and is now beyond repair. I live in San Diego, best weather ever and this happened. I can’t imagine having this somewhere where it rains frequently. I reached out to their customer support and their entire response was, “you can remove the roof when it rains.” Awesome. Huge waste of money. Spend the money on one with a better design and better customer support. Will be trying to get my money back on this and am already dreading how I will get rid of this monstrosity.

Very easy to assemble. Very sturdy.
Read the reviews on being hard to assemble but bought it anyway. Myself and my 5yr old grandson assembled it in about 4 hours. All bolts lined up perfect. Only needed wife to hold one pole for me while screwing next one in. My grandson was a bit upset that we couldn't use any big tools or drills on it and all that was needed was 2 Allen wrenches that they provide. Overall very glad I bought it. Recommended if wind picks up to retract awning. Will not last of you don't.

Great price good quality. One damaged part.
Liked the price, did not like the damaged part but I was able to fix it. The base bolts to the ground or cement, but the feet barely screw into the base. Seems backward. The product will serve as a hot tub housing for our yard and one the cedar boards were attached, it became less twisty. I did put 2x4 boards up in the hollow aluminum 4x4 posts to give something for the board screws to bite into. Looks great, roof retracts nicely.

You build what you pay for
Not gonna lie the assembly wasn't easy. Do not attempt with less than 3 people.I can't stress that enough. Took about 4 hours, including some time to redo some sections as the instructions are NOT clear. We were sent one wrong part which fortunately did not impact the final build. It's lightweight (100 lbs total -which is good on a deck) and we plan to anchor it down as the wind easily picks it up). It's made of aluminum which will bend easily. We bent one piece when the wind caught it during assembly and one piece was already dented. Hoping it lasts a couple of years. It looks nice at least. Here's to hoping it stays that way! Didn't need any tools except the included Allen wrench. You will need at least 2 stools! I'm not saying don't buy just saying be prepared with people and time!

Looks expensive for a very affordable price
I purchased two of these for my restaurant patio. I was afraid it would look too cheap because the price is too good. My guests love these addition to the patio and it does not look cheap at all.

When it Rains, it Pours
Not only did it take more than 2 people to put the pergola together in 2 hours, it took 3 people and 5 hours! When it rained, the canopy cover that is supposed to protect the folded canopy roof, filled with water and I had to go out every few hours with a broom to push the water out of the filled cover! The cover is now stretched. I cannot always be home when it rains so what will happen. I looked on Domi's website and there is a similar model only the canopy roof was tilted which allowed the rain to run off....there's an idea!! I have been trying to get a resolution to this but so far have not although they have been in touch with me via email. I spent over $700 for the pergola and another $500 to hire people to put it together and it still is not working right. I hope that Domi comes up with a fix for this and sends me the parts to fix it!!
