Wow. Exceeded expectations and this is my genuine experience. Arrived well-packaged and in quick time. The paint is easy to let down with the pumping action. The paint is good and opaque. It is also very smooth and flows beautifully.The colours are gorgeous. I bought several sets including this one, and across the sets there are one or two that are similar, though not exactly the same. I'd rate these above Posca on huge variety of colours. The paint performance equals Posca in my opinion. I don't know how lightfast these are but they are great for artists as well as crafters, if working in sketchbooks, or creating an artwork that is to be scanned in and reprinted.The pens are smaller than I expected, which is okay, it explains why they're so much cheaper than the much larger Posca pens, as there's less metal plastic and of course paint.I'd love to see these offered with a 6mm chisel nib, a brush tip, and as open stock - or even refill paint bottles. If Tooli-Art did all this, they could corner the market.Well impressed!

This is my first time using Acrylic paint pens. I wanted to purchase a set that was reasonably priced and I would continuously use, these pens met both requirements. The item arrived quickly and was well packaged. Read and follow the instructions, it will take you longer to activate these pens than described on the box! You will really need to give each pen a good shake and then continuously pump the pen nib onto paper, they will activate eventually. It will take you a while to go through all 36 though.The acrylic paint pens work as described and are great for fine details and small areas that require colour. The opaque qualities are good and cover well. Worth the investment as they will become useful in many art projects.

Great selection of colours and markers feeland look well-made. Reduced a star because some caps are rather difficult to pull off and some do not stay posted on the end of the marker. Also, a couple of colours seemed to need a lot of shaking before use in order to get the true and opaque shade.

Love these pens! Ive tried other brands and they don't compare. These never clog, always great coverage and fantastic range of colours

The media could not be loaded. I always do a swatch sheet with the very first use of any new pens. This was a very quick process as I just wanted to see how they laid down on the paper (mixed media 250gsm), although some of them sounded scratchy on application, I'm sure with persistence that will fade in time, but great richness of colour.I was pleased with the results. I'm happy with the pigment, and opacity of them. You get a good variety of shades, even if I did find numbers 6+18, 11+12, 34+35 almost identical. But I wonder if looking at them in true daylight shows a noticeable difference, as I did this test late at night under artificial light. I may come back and edit in an update at some point. But as it stands, I'm looking forward to creating art with them. You get 5 spare nibs with the set which is great. I'm considering ordering a different set in the series. But I'll use these for a short while first.Would I recommend them? Yes!

These work really well. These are comparable to Uniposca markers for considerably less money. Very opaque on first coat. Also, the color selection is fantastic. I will be buying more. My only complaint is I wish the offered a larger nib version of these.

Wow ! Really impressed with the quality of these paint pens. The range of colors is great, the colors are vibrant, the flow is constant and it is easy to make an even coverage. The opacity is just perfect. They are easy to pump. They are numbered and the color names are on the cover box. I love them so much, I just purchased other sets. These are the only paint pens one will need. I'm very tempted to say they are as good, if not better (or easier to use) that the most popular and expensive brand we all know. I recommend it 100%.

Guys these pens are amazing! I'm an artist who hates to paint. I know that's a contradiction, but it's true. I love to draw though! I was struggling to get some paintings finished (I got bored with them) when I thought I'd try paint pens - a combination of painting and drawing, right? With crossed fingers I bought these after doing some research. I already had a couple of random paint pens from 'the other guys' I'd used to sketch with and lay down outlines, but they weren't amazing and they were hard to use. However when I tried the Tooli pens I was really impressed! First of all the tips (I got all Xtra Fine) are very nice, firm, pointy, can get good detail. Very responsive. Love that they send extras! The ink flows smoothly and isn't blotchy or blobby at all (at least not yet, we will see after I use them for a while.) But what really blew me away was the colors. The black is REALLY BLACK! The 'other guys' black is about the same level as the Tooli dark gray! I mean this is super India Ink color black, really beautiful. Other colors are vivid and stay wet just long enough that you can bring in another color and blend quite well. Note that if you puddle two different colors together they will instantly combine, kind of like water colors. Be prepared for that quick bleed. I recommend these to artists who want to doodle on canvas; works great!!I got the skin tones and naturals because I do a lot of portraits and need these colors for hair, skin, shadows, plus the browns are good for any kind of nature (fur, feathers, rocks, etc). There's some awesome muted and 'soft' sorts of colors in here and they blend well; you can even smear it with your finger while wet. Note: these pens would be awesome for pointillism!
