These curtains are well made and thick. They don't completely block out light like a blackout curtain, but at our age we like some light in case we get need to get up in the middle of the night. I sewed along the edge pom pom trim and that really improved the look.

Nice light blocking curtains. They are as described. Would be better if they would add tie backs so you can open them when you want to.

I did not like that I only had a month to return them. They we bought for my mother's move into assisted living and it took over a month to see if they would work in the space. They were nice enough but the wrong color.

Calling it “blackout fabric” in the description is a pretty generous description of the amount of light it blocks
